Your breath hitched as he spoke your name, remembering what Ubuyashiki had told you. 'No way' you thought 'the sun was just down for a few seconds and he already...'
This was insane. "What do you want?" You asked, backing off slowly. Kokushibo,on the other hand, didn't make a single move to approach you any further. He observed; analyzing your posture and minuscule movements.
"Come.... with me...." He said, his voice deep and calm as you narrowed your eyes.
Tilting up your head, you countered his stare. "Say pretty please and I just might," You said, still knowing that your coop mechanism in nerve-wrecking situations was still worth of improvement.
"...really...?"
"No." With that, you vanished from his sight.
"I see...." He just said before his figure disappeared as well.
Starting a game of catch with Upper Moon One was not on your to-do list for that day but you guessed you'd have to go along with whatever life decided to throw at you. You really started to feel as if Fate now had a personal problem with you and wanted to throw some fists.
You were already making a run for it, knowing damn well that a fight would just lead to your death after reading the final arc of the manga. And why fight when you can flee?
Seeing that Kokushibo had oh so conveniently cut off your way back to the estate, you had no choice but to dive headfirst into the thick foliage of the forest on the other side, attempting to find a way around the demon.
