AFTER THE INCIDENT with Upper Moon One, there was luckily none of the demons coming after your head anymore. At least none that you knew of.
Sanemi refused to let you go outside alone if the day was coming to an end and you didn't fight against that decision because, well, you weren't dumb and definitely did not feel the need to die. The only exception to that rule was when you were sent on missions, but you never had solo ones, so it should be fine.
"WHERE IS MY HAORI??" You yelled while running through the estate, searching for the white clothing that you couldn't find for the past 10 minutes.
Sanemi and you were finally given a mission together and that was about damn time. You've never had a mission together with the Hashira despite being his Tsuguko, even though it was a good opportunity to train and learn. Apparently, it was because Sanemi was just on another level and therefore, the demons he was summoned to kill were also not exactly weak. He had reported back to Ubuyashiki though, that he deemed your skills sufficient enough at that point.
You only knew that because Señor Dorito, your crow, had ratted him out. It made your heart feel like Bibble again; all fuzzy and all. You appreciated the wind pillar more than you might let on, especially considering that he was very reluctant to train you at first but still made the most of it.
The thought of disappointing him on this mission, after he put so much effort into training you, did not sit well with you.
Because of that, you were even more eager to slay the demon that caused trouble right now.
So back to the present again — you ran down the hallway of the estate as a sudden, quite soft, impact on your head caused you to stumble to the side and hit the wall.
"Wah!"
Lying on the ground with your long lost haori beside you, Sanemi walked out of the room to your side with his hands in his pockets.
