JIGSAW - SAPNAP

EIGHT. . .

it had been a week since nyx had heard anything from sapnap. they were worried they might've said something wrong when texting him, but they barely have.

the weekly toy refund hadn't came in, nor did the buying of a new one, either.

all of their texts were left on delivered. did they look at this all wrong?

rue and them had been hanging out at their apartment, playing monopoly together.

"look, n," rue sighed, frown evident on her round face. "i'm sure you didn't do anything. besides, didn't you say he's like, a content creator? aren't they busy all the time?"

nyx shrugged sorrowfully, head bowed over the game. they had gotten parkway, but was too caught up in their feelings to even understand what was happening.

"it's just - i don't know, i know i'm overreacting and stuff, but damn, i wish i didn't get so used to seeing him weekly."

"hey, that's understandable, you have every reason to be upset, everyone gets clingy sometimes." rue rolled the dice, getting a double and clapping before rolling again, getting another double.

"one more."

"die, i'm trying to concentrate."

she shook her wrists violently, the dice made a plitter platter sound every time it hit her knuckles.

"just roll the damn dice!"

"i am!" she threw it down, the dice each having one dot.

"let's go! jail time for you, bitch."

"fuck you, i am done with this game."

and with that, they put up the game, nyx saying the whole time how rue was "such a sore loser".

"i just don't wanna go to jail!" rue rolled her eyes before slumping down on the couch, arms out wide so nyx could fall into them.

they ended up cuddling each other - something they did ever since they met in middle school. the warmth of another soothed nyx to sleep, the first peaceful sleep they got in weeks.
