"oh my god, his lips were so soft, too." nyx droned on about last nights events at the skate park to rue.

"have you not like," rue raised an eyebrow, "told him how you feel?"

"well, no. i just kinda thought we knew."

"you need to tell him today."

"ugh, why?"

"are you dumb? how the hell are you going to get with him if you don't tell him?" she took a bite of her nerds straw. "besides, look at the guy, he's in love with you."

nyx hesitated for a second, but then sighed dramatically. "fine. how should i tell him?"

"oh my god, you dumbass. text him, saying you want to meet him at the skate park or whatever."

"ugh, so many steps. fine."

nyx pulled out his phone, going to the "pretty boy" contact in xeir phone, then hesitating.

"what should i say?"

"i just told you, dumb fuck!"

"jesus, calm your shit."

"you're so stupid, you simp."

nyx finally decided on what to type, and immediately closed his phone once it was sent out of embarrassment.

xe made it to the park in 10 minutes, out of breath but excited.

"hi there." a voice he knew all too well scared xem, making him yelp.

"oh, hi, sorry, you scared the shit out of me."

sapnap laughed, then sat back to the same bench they sat at last night.

"so, what d'you want to tell me, pretty smile?"

nyx played with the ring on xeir ring finger anxiously, thinking of how to say his confession.

"uh, well, so," he stammered, taking a deep breath. stop being dramatic. "i have feelings for someone."

"really? so do i!" sapnap smiled, adjusting his cap. "d'you mind telling me who?"

"it's, well, you."

and then sapnap started laughing.

"cmon, george, dream, come out."

the two boys walked out, faces red from laughing so hard.

george and dream. minecraft. the dream team.

"you won, sap." dream walked over and laid a 100 dollar bill in his hand.

"is there something going on or..." nyx asked confusedly.

"it was a bet," sapnap laughed, "to see if i can get the ugliest girl to catch feelings for me."

nyx felt his heart tumble to the ground and shatter. "what?"

sapnap shrugged. "none of it was real. the kiss, i did just to get that money. along with the messages. i don't really have feelings for you." he snickered, dream and george joining along.

"but -"

"sorry not sorry. your smile isn't really pretty in the first place, either. money is what makes the world go 'round, you know!"

"gotta blast! bye." sapnap and dream walked off, george saying one last thing before he joined them.

"i warned you!"
