JIGSAW - SAPNAP

ELEVEN. . .

today was the day. nyx had been replaying it in his head for the whole day.

2 o'clock, 2 o'clock 2 o'clock, 2 o-

"nyx! customer!"

"oh, shit, sorry."

"stop being lovesick, simp."

he flipped her off before facing the customer. the boy looked familiar, and then it sunk in that it was one of sapnap's friends who were in the store a week ago.

"oh, hi, welcome to-"

"yeah, i'm not here to buy anything."

nyx felt his face heat up in embarrassment. "oh, uh, then what are you needing?"

"i'm here to tell you to lay off my friend."

nyx furrowed his brows, standing up straight instead of his slouched position. "excuse me?"

"yeah, he's straight, you're not gonna get him."

"fuck off."

"i'm just giving you a warning, damn, chill out."

he then walked out with a smirk on his pale face. what the fuck was that about?

"jealousy much? damn." rue and nyx watched as he ran over to a black minivan, the blonde boy who was also in the store earlier pulling him inside, both of them laughing their asses off at something.

"oh, shit, it's 1:45, i gotta go."

"go get em, love! you got this, you're a badass!" rue called as nyx ran out the door, a massive smile on his face.

he hopped on his skateboard, the park not being but 5 minutes away thankfully. before he knew it, he was at the park, and there was sapnap, leaning in his board.

"hi!" he greeted nyx with a smile - one that he could actually see."

"hi there."

"so i was right."

"right about what?"

sapnap walked closer to nyx. "you have a pretty smile."

"oh, uh, thank you!" he awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck, then put his skateboard on the ground. "well, you ready to be shown the coolest sex change ever?"

"woah, woah, woah. sex change?"

"yeah, the trick...?"

"oh."

nyx snickered at sapnap's embarrassed face. "cmon, pretty boy, show me what you got."

hours passed and the sun was beginning to slip away, causing sapnap's so called tricks to keep failing because it was too dark to see.

"jesus, it's dark."sapnap sat down, his scratched-up knees screaming with pain.

"you know, i had lots of fun doing this." nyx was out of breath, and his skateboard was beginning to feel a lot heavier than it actually is.

"so did i, pretty smile."

they sat in silence, the only sound were the little whoops of joy from the other side of the park, nyx was guessing they were because of accomplishments.

"well, i better get going. the boys are waiting on me." sapnap stood up slowly, then reached his hand down to help nyx up.

"okay! i had lots of fun, i hope we get to do it again."

sapnap reached forward and lightly kissed nyx's cheek, which turned bright red at the gesture. "so do i, pretty smile."

he stood in shock, minutes after sapnap had already waved goodbye and had rolled off into the distance.

man, was he head over heels for this boy.
