''I get by with a little help from my friends."

''Now today's Hogsmeade trip is a privilege, as are the rest, and any misbehavior will execute that privilege immediately.''

McGonagal's thin voice announced, clouding in front of her stern face. Skye stuffed her hands in her pockets and glared at one of fifth years- the one who beat Sam up last year. Speaking of Sam, he pushed gently past a third year girl, who smiled and stepped aside, as he approached Skye.

''Hello!''

He greeted, bouncing on the balls of his feet, excited.

''You look eager.''

Skye commented with a smile.

''You do!''

Lily agreed, adjusting her green shoulder bag.

''It's my first Hogsmeade trip, of course I'm excited!''

Sam replied quickly, clearly desperate to get going.

''Well, I recommend Honeydukes, top priority, and Zonko's. Happy shopping.''

Skye told him with a wink as she walked away with Lily to get in their own carriage. The journey was quick and quite the same as usual, with Skye and Lily claiming their own carriage and refusing to share it with anyone. The two of them giggled and laughed together, linking arms and tripping down from the carriage.

''Honeyduke's?''

Skye asked. Lily nodded eagerly with a grin. The bell gave a light jingle as the two girls walked in, their breath fogging up the glass. Color bombarded them and they took a deep breath, smelling chocolate and sweets.

''Mhhh.''

Lily smiled animatedly. Skye chuckled and immediately went over to the most disgusting sweets, her fingers running over cockroach flavors and every flavor beans.

''Ew, Skye, you can't seriously be buying them!''

Lily exclaimed. Skye laughed at her friend, her blue eyes lighting up.

''Merlin, no, Lily! I thought you were supposed to be inelegant. I want them for Slughorn's dinner party. It's in a couple of days.''

''Oh dear Lord.''

Lily rolled her eyes and grabbed some chocolate.

''You're so immature.''

She told Skye with an amused smile.

''Fine, MUM! I'll just put them in a bowl on the Slytherin table.''

''Don't!''

Lily laughed.

''Fine, God damnit!'' Skye said dramatically. ''I'll put them in your breakfast.'' She muttered, her notorious smirk decorating her face.

''You wouldn't dare!''

Lily hissed menacingly, her emerald eyes narrowed. The two girls locked eyes for a minute before a small smile crept onto Lily's face. Skye's eyes glittered and she smiled, although she tried to hide it. Finally, Lily caved, doubling over with laughter at their antics. Skye smiled broadly and picked up a packet of the cockroach clusters. Throwing them in the air, she caught them expertly.

''You know I can charm these to come alive? They act like real cockroaches.''

Lily raised a skeptical eyebrow. Skye shrugged at her, although the smirk crept back onto her face. Lily rolled her eyes.
