"Ms. Levesque, are you ready?" the cameraman asked as they set up in her office.
"Yup, whenever you're ready." Kennedy said, giving him a thumbs up.
"Rolling in 3, 2, 1..."
"Hey Kennedy." Kevin spoke, walking into the camera's view.
"Oh... hi Kevin, what can I do for you?" Kennedy smiled, shaking his hand.
"So two weeks ago, your grandfather said that Dean is next in line for my championship." He said, patting the IC title that was slung over his shoulder.
Kennedy nodded her head slowly and rose her eyebrow, "Yes, that's right. Is there a problem with that?"
"I just can't help but feel like Dean was handed this opportunity instead of working for it, you know?" Kennedy closed her eyes and let out a sarcastic laugh.
"Look Kev, between you and me, Dean has earned this opportunity. He's been kicking ass alongside of me and now he's finally back to being a singles competitor. Plus, you've beaten every competitor that has come your way, and I can't help but think that you don't think you can win against Dean, which is why you're here. I mean, two weeks ago you were conveniently on vacation and last week you supposedly had a migraine and had to leave the arena early?" Kennedy rose her brow, and he shook his head, taken aback.
"No, no, no, absolutely not. I know I can beat Dean Ambrose. I've beaten him before, and I can beat him again. And I'll have you know that for the last two weeks I've been recovering from my Mania match again, Corbin, in which I successfully retained my title."
"Ok, well then, here's a piece of advice for you. If you claim you can, then what are you doing in my office? Shouldn't you be going to find Dean and giving him a piece of your mind?"
Kevin straightened out. "I'll leave you to it, Ms. Helmsley." He said,
Before Kevin could turn around, she stopped him with a sadistic smile. "Hey, no problem. And be careful on your way out." She said, patting his back.
Kevin turned around, rolling his eyes, and before you know it, Dean had connected his fist to his jaw.
"Hey doll." Dean smirked, shaking his hand from the punch.
"Hi stud." She laughed, shaking her head and looking down as she blushed.
"I'm gonna take the trash out for you." He pointed down at Kevin and she nodded.
"Thanks." She smiled, reaching over to peck his lips before Dean bent down to toss Kev out of the room.
"Cut!" the producer yelled as they finished up their segment.
"You good, Kev?" Kennedy laughed, watching as Jon helped him up.
"Oh yeah, I'm fine." He laughed, shaking Jon's hand.
"Congrats on the engagement, by the way." He said, hugging Kennedy, who smiled widely.
"Awww thanks Kevin, we appreciate it." She spoke
"Yea, of course, the wedding planning is usually what the girls enjoy most, so you'll have tons of fun. Speaking from experience, seeing my wife do it." He said, making the couple laugh.
"Oh, she's looking forward to that part. I just want to put the rings on and have it done and over with. Planning gets me stressed." Jon admitted as Kennedy rolled her eyes.
"We haven't even gotten to start planning yet because of how busy we've been." She said, and Kevin nodded understandingly.
"Well, no rush. You guys will get it done in due time. I'll catch you guys later." He said, giving Jon and handshake and Kennedy a hug.
