"Hey Kennedy, where do you want this?" Her dad called out as he and boys were carrying the couch for the loft.

"Upstairs in the loft. Oh, and when you guys see the brown table, that also goes into the loft, thanks." Kennedy smiled as they nodded and made their way up.

Thankfully, Kennedy and Jon were able to move their things out of the old home with the help of movers—but Jon being the gentleman that he is, sent her and Zoey away to go furniture shopping since they needed a few newer things for the house. They spent a night at a hotel and the next day her parents, Colby, and Joe met them at the new house to help them start moving everything in.

"These are cute. Where'd you get it?" Her mom asked, holding up a set of strawberry tea cups that she unpacked from one of the moving boxes.

She was helping Kennedy get things in the kitchen since her hands were a little full, despite Zoey strapped into a carrier.

"At the thrift store, Jon said they're grandma like." Kennedy snorted, putting the plates away in the cabinets.

"Boys just don't understand decor." Her mom returned, shaking her head and putting them on the shelf.

"I really appreciate you guys coming down. You don't understand how much stress I've been under." Kennedy sighed, looking over at her mom, who sent her a comforting look.

"Sweetie, your father and I will always be here to help you and Jon out. You know that, right?" She reassured her and Kennedy gave her a small hopeful smile, but her mom was quick to sense to impending worry.

"Come on, let's go talk." Steph guided her daughter to the living room.

They sat on the couch, and Kennedy let out a sigh before finally spilling it all.

"I don't know if gramps told you or not, but Jon asked for more time off for me and him. That way, we could be home more often and raise Zoey here, plus it gives us a little more of rest. I'm just terrified that gramps is gonna think I'm incapable of working, or worse, feel disappointed in me." Kennedy stated worriedly bringing her arms to wrap gently around Zoey who continued to nap.

Her mom rubbed her back and nodded her head in an understanding way. She could just see how much pressure Kennedy was putting on herself ever since adopting Zoey. And she couldn't blame her. Her father was one intense man and work was something he found especially important. He expected everyone to be on the top of their game no matter what. But sadly, Kennedy just couldn't keep up, at least not with the amount of work and stress that she was already facing. Her duties in and out of the ring were stacked against her, and it barely left enough time for her to spend quality time with Zoey and Jon.

"Hey, don't put so much pressure on yourself, hon. And for the love of god, don't ever think about disappointing your grandfather. You know that no matter what, he's always proud of you and thankful for everything that you do for the company." She told her kindly.

"You're a mom now, Kennedy. And that title itself is more remarkable than general manager, producer, or wrestler." She explained, waving her hands around as Kennedy listened.

"And you're gonna be a wife soon." Her mom smiled patting her hand where the engagement ring sat.

"Those two titles are more prestigious than anything in this entire world. You are magic to me, Kenny. I look at you and I'm just so proud of the woman that you've become and I'm so happy that I get to be your mom and see you continue to grow. You have no idea how proud your father and I are of you. We love you and your sisters beyond everything in this world."

Soon Kennedy and Stephanie were crying messes from her mother's spiel. It was the most heartfelt and sweetest thing she needed to hear from her mom since she knew that the one other person who got her besides Jon was her mom.
