Y/N POV

Tomorrow is the first time I get to practice with my new team, a week ago I got a call from Aubrey Plaza. She is the trainer of the women's team, she wanted me to come here and try out for the team so that is what I am doing. I dropped everything I had in Londen and moved to a small studio a few streets from the club. I instantly applied for a job in that club, right now I am working as a bartender and I love every part of it.  I hope that I can keep doing this while I play for the team, not only for the money but also because I really like it. And to be honest the studio came with the job so I don't want to lose the only place I can stay.

It's now 1 a.m. and the place is packed with people. I am pouring drinks for people and got myself some shots to do. The rule is that we can drink but we can't be drunk, tipsy is allowed but just not drunk. I saw the other bartender coming back from his break. We have a team of 9 bartenders. each night we need three people to survive, 2 can be managed but the easiest for us is three. Tonight it's me, Alissa and Jake. Alissa is like the team leader, she is 28 years old but she really looks 24. She has long blonde hair and is very tall. Jake is quite the opposite. He is 32 years old has brown hair and is only five foot two. I can't complain about my colleagues because they are amazing. They are very welcoming, when it was my first day and I was so god dame nervous they helped me through it all. The teams are most of the time the same so I haven't really gotten a chance to get to know the rest.

"Y/N, you can go on break now if you want." Jake is always the person who takes care of everyone. he tells us when we need breaks or gives us drinks from time to time. "Thank you Jake, but I will take it later. The place is really crowed so you need all the help you can get." Honestly, when I am in the zone I want to stay in it so if I go take a break now my work would be interrupted. More and more people are coming inside. I know that the club can be busy but something about tonight seems different. I have never seen so much people waiting outside, I even think that nobody can come inside because it's too full.

Don't stop the music by Rihanna starts playing and everyone goes to the dance floor. honestly if I could be a dj one day I would do it in a heartbeat. After soccer my second passion is music, I used to play in local clubs in London but nothing to big. This tune was my go to song to get the crowd going. Everybody knows it and loves it. Now that everyone is on the dance floor I hope to catch a break and phone my granddad. The time difference between London and LA is seven hours so normally he would be awake by now. "Jake is it okay that I go take my break now?" He nodded so I walked to the back door with my phone. It's now fifteen past two so he would be definitely be awake by now. We always face time each other so I ring him and after a couple of seconds he picks up.

Michael: Hey honey, how is it going?

Y/N:Hey pops, I am doing great. How did you sleep?

Michael: It's going better every night. Tonight was especially rough since it's you grandma's birthday tomorrow and that makes me miss her even more.

My grandma died not so long ago. She had trouble with her hart and was very much in pain but we all didn't know about anything. My grandma is the strongest woman I have ever known. she lived in pain for months in a row and didn't tell anyone just so we wouldn't worry. Everyday I think about what would have happened if I caught on to her but I was oblivious. Three weeks ago she collapsed and was brought to the hospital. I sat with her every hour of the day, she is really the most important person in my life. She was getting worse every day. I told her all of my dreams and she told me to chase them, so it's actually because of her that I am here. After a week of being in the hospital she died, I took care of the funeral and everything but I just couldn't live without her so yeah I ran away. I still feel guilty for leaving my grandpa behind but I couldn't live there anymore.
