Part 16

Lizzie POV 

I watch as Y/N walks back to her car and once she is out of sight I close the door. This was the best date that I have ever been to. She is so thoughtful and makes sure that you are comfortable the whole time. I look around my neck and the only thing that I can do is smile like a maniac. Never in my whole life did I get a gift with so much meaning behind it and I am never going to take it off. It is the most beautiful necklace that I have ever seen. I don't know how long I am standing in the hallway staring at my necklace but after some time Aubrey had joined me. "So I guess that the date was successful." I looked up from the necklace and saw Aubrey staring at me with excitement in her eyes. "I can't even explain it. I don't think that I have ever had such a good day or that I will ever get such a good day again." 

Aubrey comes closer to me and takes my hand in hers. "I want to hear everything about it." We go to the living room and sit down on the couch. "Well, first she wanted to take me to my favorite restaurant but then I quickly made her realize that it isn't worth spending the money on. I just want to spend time with her and I don't like that she wanted to spend every last cent on this date. How cute it may be it also made me a bit angry." Aubrey looked at me with a shocked face. Why is she looking at me like that? "Did you really convinced her that?" I nodded and Aubrey just smiled. 

"I have been trying to tell her that shit for years. She has this really bad image of love, when she was in high school kids took advantage of her big hart and she let them. And that shit stinks, she worked so hard for herself and then she also worked to hard for other people. I remember that she used to call me at four in the morning because she was having a mental breakdown being stressed that she wouldn't complete all the tasks that her classmates asked her to do. Kids their age are so mean and she never got mean, she was the one they took advantage on. Even after they knew what happened to her parents." Aubrey quickly put her hand over her mouth like she said something she shouldn't. 

"She told me what happened. You don't need to hide it anymore." Aubrey jumped off the couch and just looked at me. "You are shitting with me so that I will tell you the story right?" I nod my head no and Aubrey sits back down next to me. "She never told anyone that story. Hell, I don't even know completely what happened. She just told me that they were killed in a robbery but I don't know anything more. You must be really special to her Liz, please don't break her heart because I don't think that she will survive it." I didn't even know that Aubrey didn't know the whole story. She really trusted me with something that she had never told anyone. It is a really horrible situation what happened but I am happy that she knows she can trust me. 

"I will never break her heart. First off all, I don't want to loose my best friend and second, I think that I really like her." I blush by saying these words. "I know for sure that you like her. Now tell me about that beautiful necklace you have around your neck." I get so exited to talk about it, I turn myself completely to Aubrey and show her the necklace. "She called a jeweler and asked them to make her something special. She said that she chose the lizard because she always calls me Lizard and the logo that is carved inside is the logo of the club where she works. It is the place were we first met and she said that it will be forever her favorite place. It is so cute that she made this for me. It means so much to me already. And even if I don't fully remember that evening, it is still the place were we got to meet even under those circumstances. She really is a beautiful person inside and out." Aubrey smiles and my words and we talk for another hour about all the things that Y/N did to make me feel special. After some time I go to bed and Aubrey says that she promised to call Y/N so I let her have her privacy. 

Y/N POV 

I know that Aubrey is overloading Lizzie with questions so I don't call her. She will call me when they are ready talking and then I can tell her all the great things about this evening. She probably already knows them all but I really want to talk to her because I want her to know what tonight has meant for me. After about two hours I finally get her call. 

Aubrey: Girl you are really a charmer. Lizzie is over the moon about what you did tonight. 

Y/N: I need to talk to you. 

Aubrey: Oh shit, that doesn't sound good. You aren't going to tell me that you don't like her because I will literally murder you. I am not kidding and you know it, I will come to your house and chop you in little pieces so that I can scatter them around the world and no one will ever found them. 

Y/N: First of all, it is really creepy that you already have a plan. Second of all, it is the opposite, I think that I am falling for her. She makes me a better person Aubrey. 

Aubrey: Oh honey, I already knew that you were falling for her but I am so proud of you for finally seeing it yourself. And most of all, I am immensely proud for what you did tonight. If I could give you a big hug through the phone I would. 

Y/N: What did Lizzie tell you? 

Aubrey: She didn't tell me anything personally, she just told me that you shared your story with her. I was a bit hurt that you can tell her but not me but that is for another time. She also told me that you did something about the restaurant and I know that it was a huge step for you. So I can't tell you enough how proud I am. You two are really good for each other and I can't wait till I get to be the aunt of your children. 

Y/N: Take a chill pill you crazy. 

Aubrey: I will if you take a baby pill. 

Y/N: Byeeeeeee Aubrey. 

Aubrey: No, don't hang up.

I hung up on her and not even a second later I get a message from Aubrey. 

Aubrey🥰⚽️

You are a dick you know. 

Y/N

Love you too. 

I put my phone away and make myself ready to go to bed. I am just dozing off when I hear my phone going off. I see at the screen and see that Lizzie sent me a text. 

Lizard🦎

Thank you for the date, I had the best time ever. Next time I will plan the date😉
