Tessa's POV

Leo jingles his keys between his fingers as we head towards his front door. With Miyah resting on his hip, he turns to me and pecks my lips.

"You'll be fine amore" He reassures me, making me smile. I nod my head as he gently grabs my hand, holding it in his. 

As we reach the front door, he slides his key in, opening the door with ease. He ushers me to go in first and I do so. I almost forgot how wide his hallway was.

It's only been a few days, calm down.

"By the way, my mum isn't home until tomorrow night. She's on vacation with her work friend" He explains, walking in behind me and shutting the door, making sure to lock it. I turn around with a surprised look on my face,

"Wait but she knows me and Miyah are moving in right?" I ask shyly, please say yes. 

He chuckles under his breath, nodding his head.

"She knows mi amore, don't be worried" He assures me, hanging his keys on the board with one hand still protectively wrapped around Miyah. He looks at her and slowly plopped her down on the floor.

"Welcome home mia bella" He announces, causing her to jump around crazily. Leo and I both laugh before she stops jumping, and starts searching around. She walked into the living room, and back out.

"What is it bella?" He asks, his voice laced with worry. She slowly formed a pout, 

"Where's Carr?" She asked sadly, still scanning around the room every two seconds. Who the fuck is Carr?

"Baby who's Carr?" I ask softly, bending down to her eye level. She gazes into my eyes, her pout only growing.

"The one that was here last time Tessy" She merely whispered, glancing at Leo to see if he knows, but he only looks to me in confusion.

I was about to ask again when it hit me.

Carr, Carter. It's Carter.

I look to Leo and it's as if a light bulb went off in his head, he knew who she was talking about too.

"Oh baby, Carr doesn't live here, he has his own home and he's probably there right now" I explain, holding her small hand in mine. She looks at me sadly,

"Will he come over?" She asks, looking to Leo for an answer. He whips his phone out of his pocket,

"I'll get him over here right now, it's only" He quickly glances at the clock sitting above the front door, "8:03" He finished off, pressing a button before easing his phone up to his ear.

"Carter.... Miyah's here, she wants to see you.... Really?.... See you soon" Were the only words I hear from his side before he switched off his phone. He slowly bends down beside me, levelling Miyah.

"He'll be here in 5-10 minutes bella, can you wait that long?" He questions softly, picking up her left hand and pecking it. She giggle's shyly before nodding her head.

"That's my girl. Come, let me show you to your rooms" He explains, easily lifting up Miyah, holding my hand with his other. I smile at him as he leads us up the stairs and down a few halls. Yes the house is so big that it has more than one hall. 

He leads us past two doors opposite each other, one was his room and I'm not sure what the other room was. He stopped at the room next to his, opening the door slowly.

"Mia bella" He says amusingly, letting her know it's her room. She stares at her room in awe, her mouth wide open. Her room was astonishing, I was almost jealous of it.
