"Good night Miyahs," I whisper, kissing her forehead softly as she lays sound asleep in her bed. I take a step back, admiring my little girl.

"Buona notte, bella," Leo says lowly, kissing her head as he takes his step back. I smile at him adoringly, as he leans down and pecks my lips. "It's been a long day amore, let's go to bed," He suggests, and I nod my head, walking out.

Leaving her room, we go straight into Leo's room. Where we've slept ever since I was discharged from the hospital. 

"Did Leonardo get home safe?" I ask, tucking myself into the sheets as I attempt to make myself comfortable. A huge dip forms beside me, as I see Leo doing the same. "I'll text him now," He says, pulling out his phone as he lays his back on the headrest.

A few minutes of silence, and a ping comes from his phone. He takes it from the night-stand, squinting his green eyes as he reads the notification.

"Yes, I'm safe. Don't worry about me dumbass," He reads off his phone, and a chuckle escapes me before I can contain it. "Well, there's your answer amore," He turns his phone off, putting it back as he lays comfortably in bed.

He holds me by my waist, pulling me backward, towards him. Once my back is smacked against his chest, he lets out a content sigh, and I smile at it.

Knock knock knock.

Leo perks his body up immediately, leaving me feeling cold. "Don't leave this room Tessa," He warns sternly, and my eyes widen. 

He only calls me by my name when there's a potential threat nearby. He uses it so I can 'actually listen' to him.

"No, let me come with you," I argue quietly. Does he think he's going to do this alone? Yeah, my ass.

"No, amore I'm serious," He shoots back, and I grow agitated. What the fuck does he think I am? A fucking baby?
I nod my head, "I'm not yours to protect, I can do that on my own," I say quietly, before leaving the room slowly.

I can feel him behind me, but he holds me back. I look back at him,"At least let me go first," He says, "Please."

Rolling my eyes, I give in to his orders. He leads us downstairs, very slowly, and very carefully.

Knock knock.

Then, my nerves finally rise. I glance up at the clock. 11:37 it reads. Who the fuck is here this late at night?

Once we're off the stairs, he points to the kitchen, signalling me to hide there until he can find out who this person is.

I don't want to make this harder for us, so I comply, making steadily into the kitchen. I use this time to pull out a kitchen knife, better safe then fucking sorry.

I peak out to see his hand grabbing the door knob. As if he can sense me, he turns around, and I slightly nod my head. He sends me a nervous looking smile, like he's attempting to assure me, before slowly twisting the door open. 

"Bet you missed us!" A familiar voice sings. "Why do you look like your about to knock us out?" Another familiar voice says. I step out to hear Leo curse them out. "What the fuck are you guys doing here," He groans.

Turning into view, I see Carter, Adrian and Bri. "Hey guys," I said as there eyes moved to me. Leo shut the door behind them, seeing as they decided not to shut it. "Oh, how I fucking missed you!" Bri squeals, running up to me and embracing me in a tight hug. So tight that I nearly tumbled over. 

I chuckled, "I missed you guys," I said, when Bri pulls away and the two boys come charging for me. I immediately squeal and run away, but I'm pulled back by dark brown skin. Fucking Carter. "Not so fast T," He sings, wrapping his arms around me for a hug. Soon after, Adrian does the same. 

"So, care to explain why you looked murderous when we arrived?" Carter asks Leo, raising a brow. We waited as Leo thought of what to say, we haven't quite filled them in on the recent things. 

Leo lets out a huff of air. "Raul's still out for us, and he has Tessa's deadbeat dad by his side," He explains quietly, making sure not to awake Miyahs. Multiple gasps were let out, as well as a  "What the fuck".

"No fucking way, why can't they drop this shit," Adrian huffs, looking annoyed, as well as Carter and Bri. "If any of them lay a hand on you babe I swear I'll fucking murd--"
"Trust me, I'll beat you to it," I cut Bri off, winking at her.

Hell yeah I'm scared, but am I going to show it? No. If I show that I'm scared, the others will find a reason to follow along with the fear. And we don't need that right now, and for whatever we'll plan.

"Which reminds me, I'm going to call Ma," Leo says aloud, before pulling out his phone and pressing a few buttons, putting the phone to his ear. 

"Ma, I'm good how are you... I need you to stay there for another couple of weeks. It's not safe here... Please Ma, we'll be fine here I promise... Okay, I love you too... Bye"

That was all we heard from the call.

"What did she say?" Carter asks, and we all wait for Leo to answer. "She said we'll talk about it over the phone tomorrow, she needs rest for a surgery she's going to perform," He explains, and we all nod our heads. "There's still a chance we can get her to stay, I don't want anything happening to her," I tell Leo, and he smiles at me slightly, "Yeah, me too."

"Okay, we talked about a plan, but we really need it ran through tonight," Adrian speaks up, and we all agree with him. If we leave it any longer, we'll be vulnerable to whatever comes our way.

Leo's phone suddenly goes off, "It's Leonardo, I'm going to put it on speaker," He informs, before answering the call. "I'll be honest, this isn't looking good," Leonardo begins, not wasting a second to speak. 

"What do you mean?" Leo replies, and the rest of us shuffle further, making sure we can hear better. "Raul said he's giving you ten days," He begins, "After that, he's coming."

Mumbles are set off across the room, we need to move quick. "Thanks for letting me know, I'll figure out what to do," Leo replies calmly, although I know he's feeling the opposite right now. "I'll be here if you need. Rauls a big bitch," We chuckle at his choice of words. 

"Send my regards to your principessa, will you?" Leonardo furthers, taunting Leo. "Yeah nah fuck off, bye," Leo huffs, before ending the call. 

"So, about this plan that we don't have long to figure out."
