Six hours have gone by

Six hours have gone by. We've scrapped plans that we believe won't work, and consider those that we believe will. Leo's thrown a chair across the room, Leonardo told him to leave his furniture alone. It's been stressful to say the least.

"So if we're not going to do that, what the fuck are we going to do?" Leo sounds annoyed, and judging by the faces surrounding us, they're beyond annoyed too.

Every time we bring up an idea, Leonardo shuts it down with a snap of his fingers. Claiming our fathers are 'too smart' or 'not fucking dumb'. I trust him, he knows his father more than anyone else here.

I watch as Leonardo furrows his brows, leaning his elbows on his knees. "I'll go back to Raul," he simply says. Leo immediately gets up from his seat, "Fuck no, what if they find out?" his voice is laced with anger and worry.

"No offence, but that's a shit idea," Carter chips in, expressing his thoughts. "Agreed," Bri and Adrian both say. As I look back at Leonardo, there's a grin on his face. "You guys care for me? That's cute," He teases, as the room groans.

"Not you, the people I came with, and you're not going to ruin our chances," Leo retorts, clearly annoyed. "Let Leonardo speak," I say, as Leo turns to me, his head slightly tilted. "You can't possibly be serious right now," he says lowly, challenging me.

I keep my composure, my face straight and calm. "Just hear him out, we'll never figure something out with the way we're going," I explain, shifting my attention from Leo, to his twin brother. I nod my head at him, signalling him to continue with his so called plan.

Leonardo clears his throat. "Raul doesn't know I've been in contact with you for the past couple of weeks. I always live my life away from him, and only meet with him if he calls upon me to do so," he looks around, making sure everyone's listening.

"I'll go back to him as if nothing's happened. If he doesn't speak to me about his plans with you all, then I'll find it around his place. I'll walk out with something useful regardless, I just need to wait for him to call on me," He further explains, as I see Leo biting his inner cheek.

"That doesn't sound too bad, as long as you think Raul will believe it," I raise a brow at Leonardo, making sure he's confident in his plan, if we were to move forward with it. He tilts his head, "Just going to have to trust me, won't you princess?"

"Don't fucking call her that," Leo tuts in, warning his twin brother, causing him to chuckle. "All jokes, all jokes," He reminds Leo, as Leo continues to stare daggers into him.

"Why don't you live with Raul? If you don't mind me asking," Adrian butts in, concluding the brothers little argument. Thank gosh.

It's a good question. I would expect him to live with Raul, they are basically bound together after all. And for Raul to just let him off like that?

Leonardo instantly tenses, gulping as his mood visibly changes. "Something happened. I told him I would walk over fire before living under the same roof as him again," he doesn't hold eye-contact with anyone. Instead, he fixes his clothes as if they were imperfect.

An awkward silence fills the air. Everyone knows it was something bad. Something almost unforgivable.

"If you'll excuse me," Leonardo gets up from his seat, nodding his head as he exits the living room. As soon as he's far enough, Carter speaks up. "What could've happened?" He asks softly, making sure he doesn't speak too loud. Leo looks distressed, zoning out. "Leo," I grab his shoulder softly, making sure not to fright him.

He flinches, before realising it's me. "Sorry, what'd you say?" He asks me, trying to mask his emotions, but I already saw it. "Are you okay? I'm worried about you," I speak truthfully.

He places a hand on my thigh, rubbing up and down. "I'm fine amore," He attempts to reassure me, but it's only half believable. However, I won't push him on it.

Would he know why Leonardo's acting like that? Surely not, they've only just reconnected. Maybe he's just worried for his brother.

"You might want to go and check on him," I usher him, knowing he wants to. He stares around the room, before nodding. Pecking me lips, he gets up and attempts to find Leonardo in this huge mansion.

"I hope he's okay," Bri sounds sad, maybe worried too. I look over to her, sending her a sad smile. "Me too."

It's been forty-five minutes since Leo went to check up on his brother. I hope they're having a good conversion, something that will bring them closer to each other. Something that will tie them together.

I want to check on them, but I feel like they need this time to themselves.
Suddenly, my phone starts going off beside a sleeping Miyahs. I quickly grab it, seeing Leo's name pop up on my screen.

"Leonardo said you can wonder around his house and find something to do if you're bored, we'll be a while."

"Sounds good, anywhere we aren't allowed in?"

"Don't go to my basement!!... I'm sure you heard him, right?"

"I did, and take your time. I love you."

"I love you too, amore."

I end the call, looking around at the group. They're all slouched and on their phones quietly. "Guys," I attempt to gain their attention, but no one seems to hear me. "Guys!" I whisper-shout, making all their heads turn towards me.

"Why are you yelling?" Carter asks, and I roll my eyes at him. "You guys aren't listening. Leonardo said we can wonder around his house and find something to do. They'll be a while upstairs," I explain, seeing as they nod their heads.

"An adventure!" Bri shouts, shoving her fists in the air. I give her a death stare, pointing towards Miyah, as she slaps a hand over her mouth before muttering a sorry.

I soon get up, the group following behind me. "Hide and seek, anyone?" Adrian suggests. "Fuck yeah," Carter agrees, as me and Bri nod our heads excitedly. "First one to be found has to cook us dinner," I say, glancing at the clock.

6:21 PM.

"Deal," They all agree. Soon, we play scissors, paper, rock with everyone, trying to figure out who will be the seeker.

I'm the seeker, and a smirk crawls onto my face.

"10...."
