Chapter 12 - Recovery

I dunno how many of y'all actually check my conversations tab, but I think I've literally sent out two messages several months ago about me wanting to release it. As you can see,,, that never happened til now :) But yeah I honestly wanted to give up on writing the filler episode and just continue on with the story, but I dunno why I was so hellbent on finishing this one first???? This was stupidly hard to write because there were too many things to consider and I still don't think I'm fully proud of the final product but at least it's published,,, Anyways, like always this isn't edited, like at all. Usually I skim through vaguely for spelling mistakes before sharing but this time is just gonna be the the stuff I rewrote just now,,,

3rd POV

Over the next few days, the energy of the tomb finally resembled one that was fitting. Every denizen was gloomy, even the usually cheerful Lupusregina and Aura. After all, their beloved female supreme being had been unresponsive for several days. It appeared that the toll of the fight was too harsh on her body, as there was no response from her. Not even the slightest of twitches, or a heartbeat that went slightly faster than the others. Nothing detectable.

After being brought to rest in her room, Lupusregina had found that there were several other spots of injury, but all of them paled in comparison to the one on the side of Blanks abdomen. After all, the other ones were healed using healing magic, but this one couldn't be fully healed. Most of the internal bleeding and bruising went away, but the magic damage from her own skill appeared to only heal with time.

Due to the severity of the injury, Ainz had ordered for both Yuri Alpha and Lupusregina to focus solely on treating Blanks, and had Albedo delegate their tasks to someone else temporarily. The two pleiades maids refused to leave the room unless necessary, always making sure that they were attending to the Supreme Being as best as they could.

The female supreme being woke up, feeling like absolute crap and felt completely unsteady. It felt like all her limbs were on fire and were heavy. Her head hurt, and she had to actively stay balanced so she wouldn't fall to one side. She wanted to try moving but before she could, she was immediately attended to.

"Lady Blanks, you're finally awake! Thank goodness, I will let Lord Ainz know right away," exclaimed Lupusregina. Startled by the sudden noise and change in energy, Yuri Alpha shot up and started tending to Blanks, "Ms. Blanks! Wait Lupus, tend to her first! How are you feeling, my lady?" The beast girl immediately started darting around and applied healing spells just in case.

Blanks tried to reply however as she was unconscious for several days, her throat felt like it was as dry as the sahara. Luckily without her having to ask, Lupusregina immediately held out a glass of water right in front of Blanks with a bright smile and a head tilt. Blanks drank the glass of water with haste before flashing a smile to Lupus as a thank you. She set down the glass and as she looked back up, she saw two curious faces looking right at her face. Blanks gibed and patted both of their heads, "I'm feeling fine, stop worrying," as she laughed. The two maids immediately relaxed and let out a sigh as if they were holding it for the past few days.

"Thanks for watching over me the past few days, or I assume it was you two, the presence didn't really change throughout."

"Of course! It is our greatest honour to be able to be of assistance to a Supreme Being," replied Yuri Alpha, back to her professional and stoic position.

"How many days have I been out?"

"Approximately 4 days, my lady."

Blanks appeared surprised but didn't let it show for more than a second. "How's Ain-," said Blanks before getting cut off by a knock on the door.
