Chapter 3 ~ Duel

Even though there's still a lot of things I need to sort out about the plot, I decided to push this chapter and ride the writing motivation I have while it still exists. In terms of the story, I'm still trying to figure out if this will be more of a harem thing, or just one girl in the end and then you're close friends with the rest. There might be sudden changes, and if so I apologize :( I'm just really excited for this book :) Plus, after re-reading the other chapters, I might've screwed up the chronological order so sometimes random things might pop up so :/ Oh yeah, y'all are hella op, that's the way I like it so :D Shorter Chappie, sorry

3rd POV

"Now is the time you've all been waiting for!! A duel between Lord Momonga and Lady Blanks!!" announces Aura, stopping for a few seconds to allow the crowd to cheer before continuing, "They will both take turns showing off their magical energy at 100% before beginning the fight to ensure that they are fighting their hardest. First we will have Lord Momonga!!"

The crowd cheers and when Momonga shows off his strength, the crowd cheered even louder. "As expected of Lord Momonga! Our Supreme Guild Leader!" chanted those in the crowd.

"Now it is Lady Blanks turn!" announces Aura.

The crowd cheers once more and Lady Blanks smirks before showing off her strength. The crowd goes completely silent. The pressure too immense to even react, and everyone is in awe. Despite the runes already helping to lessen the pressure felt, it felt as if the runes there wouldn't even have helped. Blanks limits it back again and the crowd cheers even louder.

"Wow, I knew that Lord Momonga was strong but Lady Blanks gave off even more pressure than he did and by a significant amount." comments Demiurge. "M-My underwear~" says Shalltear in a lustful tone as the other Floor Guardians pretend to not have heard her.

"Nabe? Nabe-chan? Hello?? Are you okay?" asks Lupisregina. "The amount of magical energy she has is insane, I'm used to working along Momonga-san and have adapted to the pressure he gives off, however Lady Blanks' is another level." replies Narberal in awe. "Awww, Nabe-chan is so cute when she's admiring someone." says Solution with a sisterly smile.

"Now remember! Both Lord Momonga and Lady Blanks will be at 100% this entire time meaning that the magic pressure you just felt from each will be combined. Be careful! And with that we will begin in 3, 2, 1, gooooo!" announces Aura.

"Lord Momonga instantly starts calling defence spells that are at Super-tier while Lady Blanks appears to be standing there doing nothing! Some of these spells have never been heard before to us! Finally, Lady Blanks finally casts her first defence spell, however I wasn't able to catch it. I sincerely apologize for the viewers!" 

Down in the Arena

Y/N's POV

"You ready to get your butt kicked, Mo?" I say to him in a tone of smugness. "Ahahaha, you act as if you've gotten that much stronger, you've been on hiatus for so long while I've been grinding." replies Momonga. "Oh? I'd like to remind you, that before that I was still stronger than you in a duel."

"Yeah well, that was back then and now I have to keep up my reputation of being the Supreme Leader." says Momonga. "Mmmm, we'll see about that" I look at him with a smirk on my face knowing that I could fully well beat him, "Wanna make it interesting then?" "What are you suggesting, Blanks?" asks Momonga. "Dagger fight, whoever gets the full blade stabbed into the other first gets the win,"  I suggest. "Fine, but remember my specialty is defense, so don't come crying when you lose." replies Momonga with a laugh. I smirk and grab the official dagger that all the Supreme Beings had. It was a symbol for us when we first started the game and it's become a bit of an online joke.
