Yikes, to those who read my other books they know that I literally suck at updating but once my summer officially starts and I don't have to deal with summer school, then I'll update more.
Also! I re-read my previous chapter again and I realized that the Nphirea kidnapping thing was supposed to be for the previous chapter, but welp :)
Fun fact: I thought I was almost done writing this, until I realized that this literally sounded like a screenplay. Had the urge to delete it all and re-write it but :) so if some of it reads like a screenplay, I'm sorry :)
Anyways, hope you enjoy this one!
Edit: Well the summer thing was apparently a lie, my bad :) In return for such a late upload, here is a 7000+ words chapter :)
Y/N's POV
We spent the rest of the daylight walking back to the city and finally stopped travelling once we reached the outside of Nphirea's home. "Now since we've returned safely, would you mind coming into my shop, so I can pay you for your services?" asks Nphirea. I look over at Ainz's giant hamster pet and hide my laughter. "Mr. Momon will be heading to the guild to register his beast before the guild hall closes though," reminds Ninya. "Would you guys be okay with waiting for a bit? I asked someone as we were walking here, and they said that registration for a pet would not take too long" I suggest. "I will wait for you regardless of how long it will take, but please go out with me!" says Lukrut, fully energized again. Nabe glares at him, which causes his attention to go to her immediately. Lukrut gets held back by Peter, as Peter apologizes once more. We waved good-bye to them for now, and began heading to the guild hall.
3rd POV
After Ainz, Nabe and Blanks turn and walk towards the guild hall, the swords of darkness and Nphirea entered the latter's home and were chatting about the long day they just had. The pharmacist noticed that the swords of darkness were sweating and clearly tired, so he offered the juice that his grandmother freshly made. However, while Peter was about to accept the offer, they were stopped as a mysterious presence suddenly emerged from the darkness.
Y/N's POV
Trying to keep a poker face on the way to the guild hall, was one of the hardest tasks of my life. Seeing this very 'manly' knight, on top of an over-sized hamster, had a very humorous ring to it. Of course this all would not be possible if Nabe hadn't suggested that the Guild Leader should never have to walk.
Luckily, the process of registering Hamsuke wasn't difficult, but for some reason it ended up taking an hour and a half. Can't say that I don't feel a bit bad for making the swords of darkness have to wait, when they needed rest.
"You three over there" says a voice coming behind us, we didn't even know if it was directed towards us because there's so many groups here, but better safe than sorry. The old lady continued to speak once she realized she had grabbed our attention, "Were you the one who went out to gather herbs with my grand-son?" "Who would you be?" asks Ainz who clearly didn't pay attention to what the lady just said. "I'm Lizzie Bareal, Nphirea's grandmother." "That is correct, I am one of the adventurers who escorted your grandson to Carne Village. My name is Momon, this is Y/N, and this is Nabe." There is a bit of small talk back and forth about Hamsuke and how she's amazed at how Momon tamed him. "Oh, I apologize for straying off track, I meant to ask you where my grandson is now," says Lizzie. "He headed home first to store his herbs with Swords of Darkness accompanying him. We're heading over there now to collect our payment." replies Ainz. "Then, shall we go together? I'm quite curious about you adventurer types and have many questions I would like to ask" "The pleasure's all ours."
