I make my way to Kohl's office, preparing myself to tell him I want my Vera back. That he can take their engagement ring back and shove it up his own ass because she's mine. Her face, her eyes, her smile, her lips, her boobs, her ass is mine.

I was going to knock on the door, before hearing quiet whispers from two voices. One, I recognized as Kohl. The door shakes, sounding like a body is being slammed into it.

I swear if Vera and Kohl are hooking up right now, I'm going to shoot someone. I know Vera and I haven't disclosed our relationship and she hasn't told me that she'd be breaking up their engagement yet but she should know I'm not a big fan of sharing.

"I have to work."

"Shut up, I want to make you feel good."

My eyes widened. I recognized that grumpy voice. Kohl and Cassio? Are they?

Oh wow.

Huh.

I moved back and headed in a different direction once I heard the soft groaning and sucking.

I do not need to listen into their business. I should tell Vera but I need to figure out how to tell her what I just discovered about her fiancé.

I go back to my room and lay down. Emmy is staying with her grandfather, Gabriel this morning. I haven't seen Vera all day but I'm pretty sure she's been locked inside her training room ever since this morning. She was there before my morning workout and I don't ever think she left.

I head downstairs, going into our gym. The lights to her training room are on, she's sparring with four of Kohl's newer soldiers right now. Her eyes scan all of her opponents, she moves fast being able to block every hit coming her way. Her body flows and flexes with determination. One of the soldiers managed to get a good hit on her ribs but she doesn't wince or gasp in pain. She gets low, swings her leg around in a circular motion, and completely knocks every single one of them off their feet.

She grins at all the men laying on the ground before helping them up. She teaches them to better their positions, what to look for when they're in a fight, and tells them goodbye when they leave.

I like this version of Vera. The one that offers advice and help to those around her. Don't get me wrong she wasn't rude or mean at all in the past but she never cared enough to help anyone but kids. Children were the only thing that would make her heart melt and bring down all of her walls.

I walk in while the soldiers head out.

Her grin turns into a frown when she sees my face. Most likely because I also have a frown on my face.

"Are you okay?" She asks, walking closer so we meet in the middle.

"I need to tell you something."

Her eyes flick back forth between my eyes, trying to scan me for any sort of information she could get just by looking at me.

I take her over to the bench and sit her down. She straddles the bench facing me while I do the same to face her. Even after training for hours, she still looks good. Her hair is messily sitting in her ponytail, her skin is glowing from the slight sheen of sweat. She looks so damn good. I want to eat her.

"What is it?" She asks drawing my attention to her lips since she's nibbling on them nervously.

I've never seen her do this before.

I decide to get straight to the point and rip off the bandaid as fast as I could. "Kohl is cheating on you."

Her brows furrowed but I catch the slight hint of amusement in her eyes. She looks a little mad now, just a bit, not too much. "He's what?"
