Chapter 16: Finally home at last!

Addie's POV

I woke up to the sound of frying pans and plates. I rubbed my eyes and noticed I was in my bedroom. I ran downstairs to see waffles on the table. Typical. All 4 of my siblings greeted me. I was SO confused. "Uh... guys, I thought we were just in the car." I scratched my head. "You fell asleep and we got here around 5:00. We all woke you up and you trudged upstairs. We didn't hear a peep out of you until now!" Isaac laughed. "oh." I nodded, and sat down at the table. "Where's Lauren and Kyara?" I asked. "Lauren drove home, and Kyara is asleep in the guest room." Cierra said, between bites of her waffle. We sat at the table silently and Kyara joined us, a couple minutes later. There wasn't really much to say until Bethany spoke up. "So when are all of us gonna be humans again?" She blurted out. We all have her a blank stare. "I mean, when are we going to reverse the spells?" She had a good point. I had almost forgot about that. "We could try to do it later tonight." Cierra suggested. "But it's not a full moon." Jordan corrected, and we all sighed of guilt. "When do we have another full moon?" "Next month, I believe." He scarfed down his last waffle and put the plate in the sink. "I need to turn back into human, too. Remember, I got turned into a werewolf. Is there any way to reverse that?" He added. "I don't know... I'm only an expert at mermaid spells." Bethany sighed. He nodded and went upstairs to upload some videos. Kyara got up and walked over to the calendar. She flipped to next month and grinned. "Guys! It's almost the end of this month, right? Well next month, the full moon is only 1 week away!" She cheered. We all perked up and smiled, aswell. "Great! So we should get ready, right?" Bethany planned. "Yeah. But what about Jordan?" "We can all reverse our mermaid spells and then we can find a reverse Werewolf spell for Jordan! But we should try to clam it all in in one night, just in case you need a full moon for Jordan's werewolf spell to work." I said. We nodded and high-fived each other and began watching TV.

Time skip, 1 week later.

We were all on the shore. About to go under water to the haunting cave. After we did the spell and assured it worked, we would block it off forever. I'm going to miss being a mermaid, but for my family's sake, I'll do it. Kyara said she would join too, since it would be no fun being a mermaid, and your other mermaid friends gave up their tails. We all jumped in and swam in the cave. Each of us said the spell. A fish tail instead of legs I no longer want to see, I want to turn back into the mortal I used to be, Now that every time I touch water I will keep my feet, But I will keep In mind that I will be sorry. The, I will be sorry part was put there for the risk of the king, and giving up our magic abilities. We blocked off the entrance and swam up to the shore. Our tails disappeared forever. We touched water again, and no tails appeared. We were now all humans except for Jordan. He was getting a bit antsy, since it was full moon, but the silver necklace and bracelets we gave him helped. After he did his spell, he could no longer hear our dog whistle and he no longer had a headache. It was official. We were now all 100% human. And no more live-threatening secrets were going to be kept. THE END.
