Chapter 3: Can you keep a secret?

Isaac's POV

Yawn... what time is it? 6:00 am? Geeze, that's early for me. I went downstairs and nobody was awake yet. Or so I thought. I made some cereal, coffee, and sat down at the table. "Hey, whatcha doing up so late?" Bethany walked in. "Late? It's the break of dawn." I said. She looked exhausted. "It is?" She perked up. "Yeah. Were you up all night?" "Uh, I dunno. I lost track. Hey, if you see a sparkly green journal, it's mine. Just give it to me and don't open it." "mhmm." I replied. Addie and Cierra were nowhere to be seen. I wonder where they went. And why is Beth so tired? Then something caught my eye. A sparkly green note-book. That must be Bethany's. Should I read it? I walked over to it and picked it up. I looked around for any signs of Bethany and opened it.

March 2015, Friday the 13th

Today was absolutely crazy. Me, Cierra, and Addie were at the beach and went home. We came home pretty late, and Jordan wasn't the happiest. It was a full moon, and we were super nervous. All 3 of us are mermaids, but not allowed to admit it. Unfortunately, Isaac and Jordan over-heard us talking earlier. I hope they didn't hear too much. Creepers -_-

"ISAAC!" Bethany shouted, causing me to flinch. "Hu? What?!" I stuttered. "You promised not to read it!" "Technically, I didn't promise-" "Get over here!" She whispered and grabbed my sleeve. "Listen, You have to promise to never tell anyone about this. We could die!" "Die?" I shivered. "Either that or get sold to the government." She added. Oh my gosh, I can't believe it. Jordan was right! They were mermaids! "You can't tell mom, dad, not even Jordan!" Bethany said. "But why?" "He has to find out for himself." She finished. "Alright. I'll give you a pinkie promise." I stuck out my pinkie. "Pinkie Pie promise." "Alright. Now what about Addie and Cierra?" "Let's go tell em. They're asleep." Bethany ran upstairs into the Girl's room. "Yo guys! Wake up! It's 6:30." Bethany shouted. "Hu? What? Is it Saturday yet?" Addie looked around. "Yawn! Morning, Beth." Cierra stretched. "Where's Jordan?" Bethany looked around. "He's probably still asleep. He's not the best at getting up, is he?" I laughed. "Yeah. Ok, girls. I have an announcement." Bethany closed the door. "Is it important?" Cierra asked. "Very. Are you all ready?" She looked at me. "Oh! Ok I'll tell you what happened." I said. After explaining the Green book and promising not to say anything about it about 1,000 times, We decided to go downstairs and watch Tv. Jordan eventually came down and made toast. (Lol Toast and Ghost) once we all got settled, we got ready to make a new video. "Hey, guys. The Internet is acting up Again." Addie moaned. "Again? Seriously?" We said. After recording some G-mod, Beth,Cierra, and Addie told me to meet them on the beach later, because they wanted to show me something. I guess I'm booked for the afternoon.
