Chapter 4: Under the ocean.

Cierra's POV

Me, Beth, and Addie were waiting for Isaac in the water. Each of us were transformed and we were splashing each other. It was beginning to rain, so nobody was at the beach. However, the waves were getting rough, and we didn't want anyone to think we needed to be saved. "Isaac is late!" Bethany said. "It's alright, he's probably just being held up by something." Addie replied. I just wish Jordan knew, too. Then, we saw a tall Silhouette running towards them. "Oh no! That's a human!" Bethany said. "Wait a second... that looks like Isaac!" I shouted and waved. "I'm here!" Isaac shouted from the shore. "Well, jump in!" Addie said. "WHAT?! Are you crazy?! I can't breathe underwater!" He shouted in disbelief. "Maybe you can't, but we can help!" Bethany said. "Are you even sure this is saAAFE" A wave swallowed him. "*sigh* let's go get him." We nodded and dunk underwater. Luckily it was shallow, so Isaac was in sight. He turned and looked at us in shock. We began to speak telepathically.

Addie: Are you sure he's alright?
Beth: Definitely. I've seen much worse.
Me: I'll grab his right arm. Addie, you grab his left. Beth, help pull him up against the current and take him to the place.
Beth: Are you sure?
Me: Yeah.

With that, we grabbed him and brung him to a cave. It was half underwater, and half above water. He took a breath of air and stared at us. "You really weren't kidding..." He managed to spit out the words. "Isaac, think about it. Would I just write a book complete with real times and real events for fun? Of course it was real. But I feel bad for leaving Jordan out. We can't say it, and he may think we're lying." Bethany laughed. "Actually, Beth. Jordan's been suspecting you all were mermaids for a while now. I didn't believe him until now." Isaac admitted. "Wait... I have an Idea." I said. "Yeah, Cierra? Whatcha got?" "I was thinking, if we got water on us and transformed, he would see us and know. Then we can explain everything then BOOM! Problem solved." I smiled. "Good Idea! Let's do that. Right, Isaac?" We looked at him and he was falling asleep. "Erm, It's getting late. Let's go back." Addie suggested. "Yeah." We agreed. All 4 of us swam home and dried off. The rain had stopped, and the waves had flattened. We stood up and stared back at the ocean. It was midnight, but we didn't care. It was beautiful.

Jordan's POV

Ok, you know what? I'm sick of this whole, running off thing. Not only did they not tell me again, but Isaac's gone, too! When mom and dad get back from work, they won't be happy to hear that 4 of their children ran off. As the oldest, it's my job to look after them, and that is failing miserably. I looked around and began to search the beach. Then, I saw 4 people standing shoulder to shoulder looking at the beach. The moon light lit them up and noticed it was my younger siblings! I was about to shout out their names until I noticed something.... Off. It was surely them, but something was different. I just couldn't put my finger on it. I walked up behind them and spoke gently, so I wouldn't startle them. "Hey... Guys, what are you doing here?" I asked. They turned around and smiled. "Hello, Jordan. We have a surprise for you." Bethany grinned. "Hu?" "Stay there." The three ran off into the ocean and left me with Isaac. "What the heck are they doing?! Have they gone mad? Isaac, why are you smiling?" I asked him. "Just wait." He responded plainly. Then, 3 mermaids leaped up from the surface similar to a dolphin. Are they my... No, it can't be. There's no way that's them. "Cmon, Jordan! Say something!" Cierra shouted. "It is them!" I accidentally said out loud. "Yep. Those are your younger sisters, Jordan." Isaac smiled. "And they're your older sisters..." I caught on. "Wait a second, were you in on this the whole time?" "Not the whole time." He gave a smug smile. I didn't question it. I was just happy to see everyone together without fights or anything. I was so proud of my younger siblings for keeping the secret for so long, and for protecting the seas. I just hope it doesn't end...
