Jordan's POV

Me, Beth, Cierra, Isaac and Addie were going to reverse this whole thing with a simple spell? Too cliché if you ask me. I just have this weird feeling in my gut that something bad is gonna happen. I hope it's just the wind that's making me shake, not fear. I really hope nothing bad happens, because I'm not going in the cave with them. All 4 of them will be alone. But I have to learn that one day, Over water or not, I can't always comfort or support them. That's gonna be the hardest part for me on this trip. I'll just go with the flow and see what happens. "Yo, Jordan! We'll be right back. So don't freak out, mkay?" Cierra and the others laughed. I forced a smile and quickly turned to a frown when they disappeared into the ripples of the ocean. What am I going to do with myself when we go our separate ways? No matter how much I'd like it to, Our little Youtube channel and us living together isn't gonna last forever. Its only a matter of time until lil' Isaac has to go to collage and get a degree, himself. I sat on the beach and looked at everyone there. We were on the far side of the beach with the rocks, so nobody noticed us. I waited and waited but they never came up, so I jumped in myself. I tried to remember how Beth described it, Half underwater and half overwater. I eventually found it but didn't go inside. I looked around the area but no sign of my siblings. Maybe they're on the surface now. With that in mind, I swam back up but saw nobody. Literally nobody. No humans, no siblings, no seagulls, nobody. I was frightened by this and went back underwater. I held my breath and saw Bethany. She gasped and pulled me up to the surface. "What are you doing?!" She was still a mermaid. "I'm looking for you guys! Why haven't you transformed yet?" "We were looking for the cave, but somebody blocked it off!" "Blocked it off? That's terrible!" "I know... Now we're definitely gonna have to move!" She sighed. Then a loud crack boomed. "What was that?!" She screamed. "Thunder... Where's Addie, Cierra, and Isaac?" "I lost them on the way here!" She looked terrified. What did they see? "Beth, Tell me what happened." I said. She hesitated and looked around. She could tell I was full of fear and worry, she practically knew me better than I knew myself. She took a deep breath and shook her head. "Listen, Jordan. I know you're worried about us..." She paused and bit her lip. I could tell something bad happened. "Go on." I motivated her. "Ok, Well... You see... How do I put this..." She began to stutter, and it started to rain. "The king! He wants us to return but we don't want to leave you guys! He found out that you and Isaac know our secrets and he got really angry and-" I covered her mouth. "Ok. I get it. Where is he?" I replied, calmly. "He... he..." She began to cry. "He's holding them hostage!" She shouted. "HOSTAGE?" I almost screamed. I covered my mouth and told her to go dry off. I went on the shore and hugged her. "If we don't make it back alive... Tell the fans we moved. Tell mom and Dad we love them." I said, releasing the hug. I waved to her, with eyes full of salty tears. I held my breath and jumped into the ocean. I looked around frantically, running out of air. Where was it?! I swam around and saw the cave. It was blocked off with a huge boulder. I swam up for air and straight back down to the clogged opening. I began picking at the boulder to get it to pry open. I'm not going to give up, not now, not ever. I was running out of air and noticed something, Why is it under water? I looked near the bottom and it seemed to be eroded. So it's no longer half in and half out of water. I kept on clawing and pulling the boulder, but it only moved a little. I went back up for air and noticed Bethany was gone. The sky was filled with clouds and there was ripples of rain everywhere around me. I glared and swam back down, pushing the Boulder harder and harder, making it crumble. I threw some rocks at it and hit it a few times and eventually it collapsed. I swam inside and instantly got a raging headache. My vision blurred and I passed out.

Bethany's POV

I was waiting on the shore, cold and alone for Jordan to come up for air, but it didn't happen. I ran off for a second to dry off in a better place, but Jordan was nowhere to be seen. I jumped in, a bit annoyed because I JUST dried off, but if it was for my brother's sake, I'd do it. I swam around and noticed the cave was opened. I swam inside and saw Jordan. Or at least that's who I think it is. He was a merman that had the upper half of Jordan, and a Dark blue fishtail. "Jordan?!" I shouted. I swam over and shook him until he opened his eyes. "B...Bethany?" He grunted. "OH MY GOSH YOURE A MERMAN!" I accidentally screamed. "What?!" He sat up and stared at his new tail. "But how?!" He said. "The cave, remember?" "I Just remembered! Isaac, Cierra, Addie! We need to save them!" He began swimming around and shouting like an idiot. "Cmon! We need to save them. Quit sea-horsing around and test that tail of yours!" "Great, now you sound like Cierra, you and your puns." He laughed. I broke a smile and swam out the entrance, Leaving to go to the dreaded reef, of which my siblings were being held captive. Jordan eventually got the hang of it, after bumping into a few sea urchins, so it left me and my older brother to save them.

Addie's POV

Where am I? Why is it so dark? Are we underwater? I opened my eyes out of solitude and saw my younger brother, Isaac, and my older sister, Cierra still passed out. It seemed we were in some opening in a slope. I tried to move, but we were chained up on the rock wall. The ceiling was crumbling and I could hear the drops of rain drop through the cracked stone. I tried shouting for help, no answer. Just where are we? The water doesn't feel familiar. Wait a second... those fish are from the Pacific! We're in the Pacific Ocean?! Why? Then,I heard someone gasp. "Addie? Cierra?! Where are we?!" Isaac stuttered. "You're finally awake! I have no idea, but I think we're in the Pacific Ocean." I answered. "The Pacific? Why are we here? We live near the Atlantic!" "I know. I don't know who's behind this, but all I know is if we don't get out soon, the ceiling is probably going to fall." "EEEP! Where am I?!" Cierra shrieked. "Cierra! Look, We can explain." "We got captured and we're in the Pacific Ocean." "Hu? The Pacific? Why are we here?" "That's what I said. We still don't know." Isaac flinched. We tried to pick the lock of our chains, but it was no use. I mean, what idiot put chains on us? And where is Beth and Jordan? Suddenly, our shells started to glow. The glow of mine was light green, Cierra's was purple, and Isaac's was red. "Why is it glowing?! What's going on?" Isaac panicked. "Something bad must've happened to Bethany!" Cierra gasped. "We need to get out of here! Let's go! I'm ready for a fight! Get out here and fight like a man!" I taunted. Still no answer. "Where is the dude that captured us?" Isaac looked around. "Its as if he just locked us up and left." "There's no key either... What do we do?" Cierra said. "Hey, guys... I think this is the end..." We looked up and saw the ceiling. The rocks began to crack open and float deeper into the water. "Goodbye..."
