~FIRST DAY~

I got done at the front office and they handed me my schedule. i pretty much only have one class i have to be in school for but i take 3 college classes, so to save gas, i just stay after my class to get my college work done.

Heading towards my first class i bump into the girl from the ice cream shop, Eletina. She wasn't alone, she had a beautiful girl with her, she was about 5"6 and had a perfect smile.

"Hey, stranger". "Hii" i say gleefully, "i knew i'd be seeing you around, btw this is paityn", i exchange a smile with her but surprisingly she pulls me in for a hug.

I'm not one for physical contact but i give in and let her hug me. "you're soo freaking gorgeous babe, i'm paityn like eletina said and we're gonna be good friends", she says hopping around like a golden retriever.

"I hope we will be". "where you headed kora", "oh american government, then i'm gonna go to the library for my college classes, what about you guys?".

"Same omg, i think we have the same american government class too" eletina says with excitement all over her face. "okay let's get going before Mr. Taylor has a shit fit cause we were late", we all giggle at paityn's comment and head to class.

Class was okay. the teacher is a bit weird but i learnt government decently. Paityn, eletina and i grab lunch, and by grab lunch i mean i took a bite and tossed the rest in the trash. We head to the library cause we thought it would be fun and easier to do the classes together.

In between studying, paityn and eletina gossiped with me and spilled all the tea about their school. The people to hang with and people not to hang with and i made it clear i planned on hanging out with no one except them, maybe.

They told me how they've been friends since 8th grade and it's always just been them. they've had other friends but like me, the friendship never lasted.

We talked about typical highschool boys and they told me about this one imparticular.

"We were friends with him for awhile in 8th grade, but then we got to highschool and i guess we didn't fit into his crowd anymore, he was still very nice to us and said hey whenever we'd see each other" Paityn says.

"One time at a party sophomore year, he had 3 girls fawning over him. One said something insulting to me and the next i knew, they were walking out with cracked eggs on their heads crying". Eletina blurts.

I laughed a little harder than I have in a while, "sounds like he still looks out for you guys". They glance over at each other then back at me. "Ehn", they say at the same time with a shoulder shrug.

Dean James was his name. All around nice guy but a player. Apparently his been messing around with this one girl, Olive peters since freshmen year. i didn't care much so i paid little to no attention to that part of the conversation.

We finished the classes early and just stayed in the library bonding. We had more in common than we had thought and we planned to stick by each other for the rest of senior year and possibly younger.

They seemed like good people and possibly good friends, knowing my history with friends i didn't have too much hope in being friends with them for that long. I just needed the company.

2:05 sharp and we head out of school. Juniors and Seniors are allowed to leave early at this school. Both the girls have jobs so they headed there. I headed home cause i don't have a job yet, but i plan on getting one soon.

"Hey, how was your first day". Surprisingly mom was home, but that's because she officially starts her new job tomorrow.

"It was good, I saw that girl from the ice cream shop and she introduced me to her other friend". She gives me a slight smile knowing how hard it is for me to make friends and actually be excited about it.

"I'm glad you had a good day, there's food in the fridge in the fridge if you want some". She says that with a knowing look. "yeah i'll eat some, before mickey eats it all". "HEYY". he says pausing his show. Love that kid.

First day of school, successful.
