The house was beautiful, the area was peaceful. Everything about this was perfect. We Just got done unboxing the last of our things and Mama decided we go sight seeing .
"This place is gorgeous mama", i say to my mom as we drive down downtown. "i know that's why i chose it", she says with a sly smirk. My mom has always had taste, after all she is an interior designer as well as she is a CNA.
We spot a cute ice cream shop and before mama could finish parking, Mickey jumps out and is already on the go. My brother loves food by the way, he eats a lot and doesn't gain nothing! that kid. Mama and I walk in and it's a cute little ice cream shop with restricted flavors.
Mickey and Mana ordered their ice cream and i approach the counter, "don't order all the flavors now sis", i roll my eyes at my dumb brother and giggle so does the girl behind the counter.
"Hi, can i get 2 scoops of strawberry ice cream please". The girl serving us is beautiful must i add. she has a curly afro and beautiful melanated skin with pearly whites. She scoops up my ice cream and hands it to me. "thank you".
Mama pays and walks out with mickey, right as i'm about to walk out, "hey, are you new around here? i've never seen you before and i always remember faces, btw you're really pretty. I'm eletina", i watch as the gorgeous girl rambles. i laugh, "yeah, i just moved here, im kora and you're very pretty as well". She giggles, "since you're new here i'll be seeing you at school?", i nod and respond, "yes you will", she hums, "see ya around i guess". i smile and wave and walk out.
Saturday and sunday was spent setting our rooms up, getting the furniture ready and other things like that. We did more sight seeing and i got my car on sunday. Now i'm really ready.
We drove around a little bit more after getting ice cream and headed home. School started in 2 days and we were excited. i was starting senior year and Mickey was going into the 7th grade.
We spent the rest of the weekend settling in and exploring town. Getting ready for a fresh start at a new school Monday.
My alarm blares at 6:00am sharp. I get up, brush my teeth and do my usual routine. i put on a nice pair of graphic baggy jeans and a white fitted crop top and throw on a varsity jacket.
I put my hair up in a messy bun and tie a black scarf around it. i don't eat in the mornings or afternoons or evenings, i basically eat when i feel like it and that's hardly ever. i drove down to the middle school and drop my brother off. i had to take him today because mama had an interview at a little clinic downtown.
i parked my car, gathered my stuff and walked to the front office, luckily it was at the very front of the school.
