THE NEWLYWED GAME (CHAPTER TWO)

CHAPTER TWO

"All right, the clue for this round is 'white'"

Round two was already started and the boys enjoyed the guessing game. But for Midoriya, he finds it difficult to gain other points when he didn't get the answer from his friends, especially Aoyama. 

The score rank for the second round is:  Ojiro ranks first, Tenya ranks second, Todoroki ranks third, Midoriya ranks fourth and the last rank is Aoyama. 

"Aoyama's probably thinking...' rice'". Midoriya said 

"Wrong. It is 'my skin' that glistens like freshly fallen snow".

"Glistening white skin, Aoyama? Only you could come up with an answer like that!

"Midoriya, if you truly thought my answer would be 'rice', you were sorely mistaken. Besides which, pain is my carbohydrate of choice", replied Aoyama. 

"Midoriya hasn't been able to guess a single one of your answers yet." Ojiro said showing his awkward smile.

"How about a more specific, personal topic related to this game? For instance...our favorite heroes?"  Tenya suggested.

Everyone besides Midoriya snorted and said, "Too easy!...ALL MIGHT!" 

"If the goal is to get Midoriya and Aoyama in sync, shouldn't they just rehearse?" said Todoroki with all his usual candidness. The others nodded in agreement.

"Be sure to spin my gorgeous self all about so that my sparkles can fill the entire hall!" said Aoyama.

"Sure, I'll do my best!" Midoriya replied with a smile.

"I too have been working on my dance steps! Observe, everyone!" Tenya stood up and performed his robotic moves. Since Iida was too stiff to move like a robot, Ashido had decided to make use of Tenya's characteristic stiff joints and have him perform a solo robot, which he now demonstrated to his friends. His awkward, clunky movements were the spitting image of mechanized automation. 

"I called this as 'Mecha dance'" said Tenya while doing his robotic moves.

"Wow, those are some not-too-smooth moves, Iida-kun! Good going!" said Midoriya with a thumbs up sign.

"Thank you, Midoriya-kun. But I still need to brush up on my routine before the main event", said Tenya.

"Hey, why don't you check out the Support Course's robots, for reference?" offered Ojiro. "You've already kind of friends with Mei Hatsume from the Sports Festival, right?" 

"No, thank you! Unnecessary! I shall find the robot within me without that sort of external aid!" shot back Tenya.

Their conversation so far is all about Sports Festival, Mei's inventions, Cavalry battle, Shinso's quirk, and Midoriya vs Todoroki's battle which marked as the battle for the ages. Midoriya felt embarrassed about it. They marked it as 'the battle for the ages' because probably the first time to see that everything inside the arena was totally destroyed. But thanks to Midoriya, Todoroki finally used his other limb to activate his power, fire. 

The five boys were now determined and vowed to keep honing their skills before next year's Sports Festival. If they were lucky, it would be on a day as beautiful as this one.

"Hey guys, we're almost forgot playing this game. We haven't finished Round Two!" Ojiro announced while waving his right hand. "I suggest that we should stick to the rules....how about words for our likes and dislikes" Ojiro proposed. "Let's say for likes....something 'black'" 

"That's easy! Black belt because you liked Martial Arts!" Midoriya said.

"Correct, another point for Midoriya. It's your turn to give us a clue. Remember, it's you or your partners' turn for likes and dislikes" Ojiro said.
