* Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) indicate a sweet or beautiful moment. 

* A flower blossom falling off its stem may indicate death or, most commonly, loss of virginity.

* The image of something cracking or shattering often signifies either death or a serious event.

* Smoke or stream coming out of the character's nose indicates that the character is aroused.

* Waterfall eyes or water flowing out of the eyes indicates extreme joy or sadness, and it's usually played for comedic effect. When the emotion is pushed beyond its limit, the water doesn't just stick to the face - it can splash out sideways in greater volume just like Inko and Izuku Midoriya.

The Taijitsu is comprised of a black swirling "tear drop" shape with a small white dot (Yin) and a white swirling "tear drop" shape with a small black dot (Yang), both culminating into a circle. 

* Yin depicts a feminine force travelling inward, is right brain dominant, and is associated with cold, darkness, winter, and night. She represents the "moon". Yin depicts intelligence, intuition,  creativity, calm perseverance, and timidity. Yin is introverted, late, makes decisions from the heart and shows imagination. Yang represents a masculine force travelling outward, is left brain dominant, and is associated with heat, sunlight, summer, and daytime. He represents the "sun". Yang extraverted , goal directed, adventurous and displays courage and determination. Yang is reasonable, methodical, controlled, and linear in thinking. Yin and Yang should be paired with each other. They're helping each other to make it balance. Example if Yin got depressed, the Yang will be the one help her uplift spirits and if Yang became aggressive or troubled, the Yin will be the one will help him.

* Moth symbolizes "reborn" and also viewed as spirits in Japan. In fact, some Japanese believe that when people die their souls become moths or butterflies before travelling to the afterlife. 

* Butterflies symbolizes "soul of the living and the dead", as a result of the popular belief that spirits of the dead take the form of a butterfly when on their journey to the other world and eternal life. The butterfly is also often used as a symbol for young girls as they spread their wings and emerge into womanhood, as well as it being believed to symbolise joy and longevity. If two butterflies dancing around each other, it symbolizes of marital happiness.

* Cats in Japan are thought to bring good luck, happiness, wealth and prosperity.

* In China, Sheep is a symbol of power and the male force, for the Japanese it represents goodness, gentleness, and being part of 'the herd'.

* A netsuke is normally carved into the shape of an animal, person, or mythical creature, often a Japanese symbol with specific meanings, such as happiness, longevity or properity. 

* Mochi symbolizes good fortune, strength, and good health. Round, mirror-like shape kagami mochi symbolizes "the renewal of light and energy present at the start of a New Year.

* Birds in the manga representing "good harvest" or "happiness". If the birds flies and dances in the sky that means the character is seeking for love and freedom.

* In Japan, Koi symbolizes many good qualities. They swim against the current and overcome great obstacles. It symbolize strength, courage, patience, and success through perseverance. Also in Japan, Koi are also the symbol of "love" and "friendship". Koi fish are also symbolized according to their color. Black means masculinity, Gold means properity and well-being, Blue means tranquility and Red means strength and power.

* In Japan, the color yellow represents "one of courage". According to a legend, during War of Dynasty in 1357, each warriors wore yellow chrysanthemum, ribbons and even scarves as a pledge of courage.

* The color gold or "ki" is the symbol of the sun, and of the god's power and mercy. Gold is often used at temples and shrines. In kanji, "ki" means tree or wood.

* In Zen Buddhism, the moon symbolises enlightenment. Regardless of which religion one is in, the Japanese people collectively look up to the moon as a positive force of their beliefs.

* Rabbits are also linked to the moon known as "Moon Hare" or "Tsuki no usagi". In Japanese folklore, legend says that long ago, Buddha traveled on the Earth. When he got hungry, and took a break, animals brought him treats and only the hare had nothing to offer. Then, the hare rushed into a fire to roast himself as an offering for Buddha. Buddha was very touched by such self-sacrifice and granted immortality to the hare and settled him on the moon. So when you view the moon, you can see an usagi grinding a medicine for immortality with a mortar and pestle. In Chinese folklore, a moon goddess Chang'e, constantly pounding the elixir of life for her and some show the making of cakes, or rice cakes; but in Japanese and Korean versions, the rabbit is pounding the ingredients for mochi or some other type of rice cakes.

* Tabanata meaning "Evening of the seventh" also known as a Star Festival celebrates the meeting of Orihime and Hikoboshi (Vega and Altair). According to legend, the Milky Way separates these lovers, and they are allowed to meet only once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month of the lunisolar calendar. 

* According to mangaka, some characters in the story are destined to be together (soulmates) if one of them represents 7 just in Tabanata....either the number of names, birthdates, or symbols that represent stars.
