the couple pulled apart as they heard a whistle coming from where their friends climbed out, "hey. hey. open it. stop making out." Pope whispered.
JJ and Caroline stood up as JJ opened the grate handing it to Caroline who it aside as everyone climbed back in.
"i thought Rafe got you guys for sure." Caroline said watching Pope climb in followed by Kiara.
"no. we're chill." Pope said as Caroline watched John B climb in.
"all right." Kiara sighed once she reached the floor.
"okay, let's put the grate back on." Caroline held it up.
"no, wait. hold it." Pope whispered to her.
"what? why?" she whispered.
once John B hopped down a new face was greeted, Caroline looked at the three in shock, "who's this?"
"Jesus Christ! i kill you, John B!" she snapped at John B.
"just relax. just relax, okay?" John B told Caroline.
"i am relaxed, you're not." Caroline looked at him.
"i told you i had a surprise."
"who is she? what's going on? John B!" Caroline snapped at John B clearly not relaxed.
"hey, hey. Ace, you're not relaxed but i need you to relax. relax. remember i told you about the girl we met in the Bahamas that saved us?" John B held Caroline by her shoulders.
"uh.. Cleo, yeah?" Caroline asked.
"Cleo." John B looked up at her, Caroline turned to Cleo giving her a small wave, "she's gonna help us, all right?"
"next time, ask me." Cleo looked at John B.
once everyone had calmed down a little John B, Pope and Kiara told JJ and Caroline how everything went, JJ ended up getting upset since John B wasn't able to grab anything.
"you seriously didn't grab nothing, not one single gun?" JJ asked.
"we tr.. we tried, okay? i got attacked." John B defended.
"this is why i should've gone with." JJ argued as everyone shushed him.
"let me get this straight. you five, with no weapons, decided you were gonna hijack this tramp steamer on your own? do you have any idea who these people are? Eberhimi, if he catch you, he's gonna kill you. dead. cut off your fingers." Cleo told the five Pogues.
