the five sat in the wreck in silence not saying a word since they all left Barry's all worried about JJ and wondering what he'll do.
"look, he'll come around, all right? it's.. he's doing a JJ thing." John B said.
"you think he'll go home?" Caroline asked staring at the floor sitting in front of Kiara.
"there's about a zero percent chance that JJ goes home." Pope said.
"you okay?" John B asked Sarah.
"yeah." she nodded, "are you?"
"i mean, i'm in one piece, so.."
"okay." Pope sighed. "it's too dangerous to pawn this thing off piecemeal. so our best bet is to go down there and get the rest of it. bring it all up at once. put it in— in a safe or a vault or something. i-i don't know. just until we can find someone who won't rip us off. i can figure it out tonight, get it done, and we can be out there tomorrow morning." Pope explained quickly coming up with the plan.
"all right, let's do it." John B said.
"easy." Pope said.
"let's go."
"what about that thing with my dad?" Sarah asked.
"shit."
"what thing?" Pope asked.
"i have to go fishing with Ward." John B said.
"you can't get 400 mil 'cause you're gonna go kill fish?" Kie asked.
"look, i have to go." John b said.
"blow it off. it's 400 million in gold!" Pope exclaimed.
"make something up, say my dad needs you at the aquarium to build stuff." Caroline suggested.
"look, i-i have to, okay? he.. he saved me, all right? if it weren't for Ward, i'd be in foster care. so.. i have to go. plus, it'll be better to do it at night. right?" John B asked.
"fine. fine, go fishing." Pope said.
"and at least JJ will probably have washed up by then." Caroline played with her necklace, Kiara rubbed her back hugging her from behind.

hours had passed, Kiara, Pope and Caroline went to buy supplies to get the gold tomorrow night as Pope pulled up to the château to assemble everything.
"gotta be done before my scholarship interview in the morning." Pope said shutting the car off.
"yes, we know. we'll get everything done tonight and you'll be ready for tomorrow." Caroline assured him.
