"Why the fuck can't I see her?!" Alison screamed, slapping both her hands over the chest of some unknown male nurse who was assigned to her that night. The nurse stumbled backwards, but after much struggling, managed to hold on to Alison's wrists to stop her from attacking him again. Alison's eyes were sunken from lack of sleep, and they were wild with panic and fear and grief, but she didn't let anything else but the anger come through. Otherwise she would collapse underneath it all. She'd collapse, and she didn't know if she'd be able to pick herself up without Emily there.
"Miss Dilaurentis-"
"I want to see her! You can't keep me from her!" She managed to get away, intending to walk past the nurse, but two more guys held on to her limbs fast, pushing her backwards towards the bed.
She was livid. She didn't have anything else in her mind but Emily. They were separated the moment she the heard of cops and medics arrived at the warehouse. She'd tried to hold on to Emily's hand, but everything had gone too fast. She tried to catch the chocolate brown eyes to seek for comfort before they were truly separated, but all she could see were the bodies of the medics fussing over her. She had fought against the hands, but she was injected something.
No doubt she was bound to be injected with something again now that the hospital needed to dispense three guys to restrain her.
"Just let me fucking see her!"
She managed to punch the guy on her right, and she barely registered the grunt and the blood she drew, both from her fist and from the nose of the male nurse who took her wrist again in both of his, not caring that he was bleeding so they could keep her in place.
"Don't think I won't- No, no, no, no, no, don't put me to-"
But the needle was already being inserted into her skin and she was already fading fast. The edges of her vision turned blurry, and she lost feeling on all her limbs. She tried to fight against her closing eyelids, but they were just getting heavier and heavier. Without the anger, the panic and the fear surfaced, but she could do nothing else but give in to the darkness.
She thought she was done giving in to the darkness a long time ago.
