A month has passed since Gabriel asked Nathalie to work from home.

For Gabriel, things were going well, he has stopped drinking and smoking. He also has slowly tried to fix his relationship with Adrien, again.

Even though everything else was going well, he really didn't take the time to try and get over Nathalie.

Gabriel just thought that if he didnt think of or speak to Nathalie, he would just forget about his feelings.

Although, that almost seemed to make them stronger. Not seeing her everyday made him miss her even more.

How he wished he could see her smile once again.

Now that Nathalie was working from home, she and Hunter have seemed to have gotten closer. There were still a few fights but not as heated as they were before.

But since the conversation with Penny, Nathalie has had a hard time trying to build a closer relationship with Hunter, She couldn't get past her feelings for Gabriel.

All the hours they spent together and all of the flirting made her stomach get butterflies everytime she thought about those fond memories.

The memory that played on repeat in her head was her and Gabriel's first kiss. Although it was the wrong place and wrong time, Nathalie still wished it would have lasted longer.

The feeling of his lips on hers, and the placement of his hand moving from her lower back up to the back of her neck, made her go mad.

It almost made her curious about what else he could do.

So many times Nathalie had to shake those thoughts out of her head and try to realize what was in front of her, Hunter.

But she would always go back to those happy memories.

Gabriel softly stroking her forehead while she was sick, or the time when she told him about her past, the embrace they shared made her feel so safe.

"Stop it Nat!" Nathalie snapped out of her daydream, "work, just finish your work for today, forget about Gabriel for once."

Nathalie signed and got back to the many papers laid out in front of her.

A few hours later, Nathalie had finished her work for the day and was on the couch watching TV with Hunter.

The night was just like any other Thursday night, when Nathalie got an unexpected call from Gabriel.

Ring, Ring

Nathalie looked at her phone, saw it was Gabriel and got up off the couch and started to walk towards the stairs.

"Hey" Nathalie picked up the phone, and made her way upstairs and into her room.

"Hey Nat, how are you?" Gabriel responded

"I can't complain, how are you?" Nathalie smiled and closed her bedroom door.

"Pretty good" Gabriel chuckled

This was the first time in a month the two have spoken to each other. The only communication they had was through emails, and the odd text message saying "look at your email".

"Alright cut the small talk, what do you want?" Nathalie said in a joking manner

"Always straight to business with you Ms.Sancour" Gabriel teased

Nathalie laughed and sat down on her bed.

"God, how I've missed that laugh," Gabriel thought.

"So, you need me to check my email?" Nathalie joked

"Not this time, I actually have a question" Gabriel told
