A Christmas Nuisance

The next morning was very early for Gabriel, Adrien, and Nathalie.

They were all catching a private jet with Jagged and Penny, to avoid Audrey and her group, they decided to leave early.

Around 4:30 am Gabriel and Adrien met Nathalie and Penny in the lobby of the hotel.

Once again Adrien could hardly stand he was so tired. As the elevator doors opened to the lobby Gabriel had to tap Adrien's shoulder to wake him up.

"Morning ladies " Gabriel greeted approaching the two women standing in the lobby.

"Morning" Penny responded

"Hey, good morning," Nathalie said quietly, seeing Adrien half asleep.

"He's still not used to the early mornings" Gabriel chuckled, patting Adrien's back.

Adrien raised his half hung head and blinked a few times.

Nathalie laughed at Adrien, walked over to him and placed her hand on his head.

"Jagged is outside, we can start loading." Penny informed the two adults and grabbed her luggage.

"You can sleep in the car again, just stay awake a little longer ok?" Nathalie spoke softly, as she rubbed Adrien's head.

Adrien nodded with his eyes still closed.

Nathalie smiled at the half asleep boy, and turned to pick up her luggage.

Reaching down to grab her suitcase next to her, Nathalie looked down when she realized there was nothing to grab.

Looking around the lobby, she saw Gabriel walking out of the sliding doors with her suitcase in one of his hands.

"Even after yesterday you still treat me like a queen. You never cease to amaze me"  Nathalie thought, as she smiled at Gabriel.

Nathalie helped Adrien with his bags and got into the car.

"Everyone has their seat belts on?" Jagged said in the front seat.

"Yup" everyone responds.

Upon hearing the group say that they were ready, Jagged started to make his way towards the Airport.

Jagged and Penny sat in the front, while Nathalie, Adrien and Gabriel sat in the back.

Adrien sat in the middle of Nathalie and Gabriel, keeping the two forbidden lovers apart.

The hotel wasn't very far from the Airport. It was a 25 minute car ride, but due to all the turns and traffic lights it made it a bit longer.

Due to all the corners, Adrien, who was asleep, had now put all of his body weight onto Nathalie. Leaning his head onto her shoulder.

Nathalie looked down at the sleeping boy, with a soft, motherly gaze.

Gabriel looked up from his phone when he felt Adrien's arm, which was touching his arm, longer be in contact with his.

Seeing his son leaned up against the woman he loves, made his heart melt. Gabriel saw the way Nathalie looked at Adrien. It was filled with so much tenderness, and unconditional love.

Nathalie realized Gabriel had been looking at her and looked up from Adrien to meet his eyes.

Once their eyes met, Gabriel smiled, giving her the same look she had been giving Adrien.

"Apparently my shoulder is comfortable" Nathalie whispered

"Apparently" Gabriel whispered back, chuckling while doing so.
