"It's a Simple Yes or No Question"

The four adults all met in the front lobby of their hotel.

Everyone was waiting in the lobby for Gabriel, he was running late.

Ding

"Lobby" the robotic voice in the elevator said as Gabriel stepped through the elevator doors.

"It's about time," Jagged teased Gabriel.

"I know I know, I'm sorry. Audrey stopped me in the halls and wanted to chat, you know how that woman never stops talking." Gabriel responded and rolled his eyes.

"Oh yeah, I get that '' Jagged widened his eyes and nodded his head. "She really should learn to keep her mouth shut"

Gabriel chuckled and shook his head. The women just rolled their eyes and started walking out the sliding doors of the hotel lobby.

"No car?" Nathalie asked Penny

"Nope, it's a really nice night to walk. Plus we won't get noticed by paparazzi this way." Penny responded

"Glad I wore my running shoes" Nathalie mumbled to herself.

Due to Fashion week going on, the paparazzi have been crazy all over New York. So to try and avoid them, Penny and Jagged told Nathalie and Gabriel to wear something casual for tonight. They didn't want paparazzi to ruin their time out.

The four made their way into the city and came across a nice Mexican restaurant.

They decided to go in and have a seat.

A couple hours passed. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the few glasses of wine that were served.

Although, Nathalie only let Gabriel have one glass of wine. Since she found out that he had broken his eight years of being sober, Nathalie has been very strict with the amount of alcohol Gabriel can have.

Gabriel didn't mind it, he preferred to be sober, rather than a drunk asshole. So if he can only have one glass of wine at dinner, then so be it.

It was around 7:30pm when the four of them finished eating. They grabbed their coats and started to walk back towards the hotel.

"Hey guys"

Everyone turns to face Gabriel.

"Why don't we take a scenic route back to the hotel" he explained

"Yeah sure, sounds nice." Nathalie responded

Penny and Jagged looked at eachother then shrugged, and started to walk towards their friends.

Gabriel led them through a smaller part of New York. Not as many tall buildings, and a few less people. For most of their walk they saw about ten to fifteen people on the sidewalk. It was nice.

It wasn't cold either, there was a slight breeze that would make Penny and Nathalie shiver a bit, but nothing bad.

Jagged would give Penny his coat to help her stay warm. Gabriel wanted to do the same with Nathalie, but he thought that it would be inappropriate for him to do so.

As they were walkling Nathalie noticed that they were being followed by a few people.

She nudged Gabriel with her arm and nodded her head in the direction of the people behind them.

Jagged and Penny, who was walking behind the two, also noticed Nathalie's movements and looked behind them as well.

"Shit you think it's paparazzi?" Gabriel whispered to Nathalie, and kept facing forward.

"I don't know, but we need to find a place to lose them, in case they are," Nathalie whispered back, and turned yet again to have another look at the people following them.
