"Yes"

Nathalie spoke, almost in a whisper, looking down at Gabriel.

Gabriel moved his head out of his hands and looked into Nathalie's eyes.

"You-what?-" Gabriel couldn't find the right words.

Nathalie smiled wide, "I do" she said in a whisper, still looking in Gabriel's eyes.

Gabriel searched Nathalie's eyes for any sign of regret, or to see if she was lying.

But what Gabriel saw was Nathalie's eyes filled with compassion, love, and fondness.

"You-" Gabriel stopped speaking when he noticed Nonna stand up from her seat.

Both Gabriel and Nathalie stood up as well, Gabriel walked over towards Nonna to help her.

Nonna made her way towards the door to her bedroom, but before she opened the door she turned once more.

"Nonna? Where are you going?" Gabriel asked.

"I need to have a breather. Calm myself down before I join everyone else, and I think you two need to talk," Nonna smiled and winked at Gabriel.

Nonna learned to read lips so she can still help in the restaurant downstairs, that's why she was able to respond to Gabriel's question.

Gabriel nodded his head, as Nonna stepped inside her bedroom and closed the door behind her.

Once the door was shut Gabriel walked back to the living room where Nathalie was standing.

She was pacing back and forth and was playing with her hands nervously.

When she noticed Gabriel enter the room she stopped pacing, turned to face Gabriel and gave him a nervous smile.

"Look Gabriel I know it's been awhile since the wedding and I know you said you wanted to get over me so if you don't feel the same thats-"

Gabriel had been walking slowly towards Nathalie as she was speaking, but once he got close to her he couldn't hold himself back anymore.

Before Nathalie could finish her sentence Gabriel placed both of his hands on Nathalie's checks and pulled her into a passionate kiss.

Nathalie's stomach got butterflies, her body melted as their lips touched, and she placed her hands onto Gabriel's chest.

Although he didn't want to, Gabriel broke the kiss a moment later.

Nathalie kept her eyes closed for a moment before opening them and looked into Gabriel's gray eyes.

"I've been in love with you for the past 9 years" Gabriel took a heavy breath, "I'm not gonna stop anytime soon." He leaned his forehead up against Nathalies.

Nathalie was grinning from ear to ear, she was so happy. She felt like she had just had her first kiss. She laughed and moved her hands onto Gabriel's checks.

"Thank god" Nathalie laughed and placed her lips back onto Gabriels.

Gabriel moved one of his hands behind Nathalie's back then up to her neck, and placed the other on her lower back.

Nathalie placed one of her hands behind Gabriel's head, sliding her fingers through his hair.

Pulling Nathalie closer to him, Gabriel leaned into Nathalie, making her back have a slight arch.

Gabriel could feel his heart pumping in his chest. He finally got to feel those soft, warm, pink lips on his once again. But this time he tasted more than Nathalie's lips.
