It's Saturday night and Satori is leaving the restaurant with her two friends who study different subjects. Akiko is in Japanese studies and Eri studies Biochemistry.
"So what's the plan now? I could do with a walk, I'm so full." Eri says.
"Yeah and then drinks?" Akiko adds.
"Actually, if you're up for it, I've been invited to a party." Why is she proposing this? She had already resigned herself not to bother but Kise has been pretty nice lately and the potential of Aomine being there too, in a non sports related environment, is intriguing, although he originally said he had plans.
"Oh, look at you 'Miss popular'! Where is it?" Akiko asks.
"Not far from campus, we can walk so you can digest!" Satori reassures Eri.
"Whose party is it?" She asks.
"Kise, one of the basketball guys who train next to us."
"Is he cute?" Akiko hurries.
Knowing her, Satori answers.
"Very. Definitely your type."
"Not yours?"
"Meh... I don't know. To start with, he was coming across as a jock, too confident, arrogant and limit rude."
"But now?"
"He's been pretty nice. He brought me soup when I was unwell."
"Aaww! That's so sweet!" Eri says.
"Yeah. I don't know if he has ulterior motives though."
"You're right! An athletic and attractive hunk being nice and thoughtful, to seduce you and become your boyfriend? How rude! How terrible!" Eri jokes.
"Yeah! How dare he?!?" They giggle together.
"Who said he was seducing me? He brought me soup, that's all." She takes her phone out to find his address. "It should be this way."
"Wait! You have his phone number?" Akiko asks.
She realises then that she has nowhere to hide from them.
"Well..."
"Haha! No comment!"
"Shut up!!" Satori says defensively, starting to chase her friend.
"I didn't say anything!" Akiko laughs.
"It's not funny!"
"Guys I'm full. I can't run!!" Eri whines.
They stop and Satori stares at Akiko as if to warn her to stop her teasing.
After a short walk, they arrive at the old three story house and ring the door bell, while they can hear music and laughters.
The door opens and Kise's smile is blinding.
"You made it! Oh man! I'm so glad!"
"Yeah, I brought my friends. I hope that's okay."
"Absolutely! Ladies, please come in. I'm Kise." He says charming them with his lovable attitude.
"Hi!" They both say in unison.
"I'm Akiko and that's Eri."
"Nice to meet you. Drinks are in the kitchen over there and there is also a bar in the backyard."
"We brought something too. We stopped on the way and bought beers." Satori says lifting a bag.
"There's buckets of ice in the garden if you want to put them there."
