They arrive at the villa and, after passing the gate, are welcomed by a guy with red hair, nowhere as tall as Aomine.
"Welcome." He says approaching Satori, his eyes piecing but seemingly friendly.
Aomine, who was picking up their bags from the trunk, appears and smiles, happy to see his friend.
"Akashi my man!"
"Hi Aomine. How are you?"
"Good. Hungry."
"You didn't say you were bringing such a delightful flower." Akashi says flirtatiously. He seems refined in his words and his body language.
"Haha! Why would I spoil the surprise? Satori, this is Seijuro Akashi."
"Please call me Seijuro."
"What? Already? Mr proper etiquette!" Aomine is surprised.
"Well, the end justifies the means." He says smiling, offering his arm to Satori, which she takes, happy with the special treatment.
"And what end would that be?" He asks carrying the luggages behind.
"Getting to know each other better obviously." Akashi says admiring Satori.
"What has happened to you?" Aomine exclaims, gobsmacked by how much of a sweet talking his friend has become,
"He's living in a world of debauchery." Says a tall man with green hair, standing in the doorway, pushing his glasses higher on the bridge of his nose. "Nice to meet you Satori, I'm Shintaro Midorima. Please call me... Midorima... for now."
"Nice to meet you." She says as she's shown in. "Wow! This is gorgeous!" She adds in admiration of the luxurious interior. "Let me know if we owe you anything for the rental."
Aomine scoffs.
"It's Akashi's place."
"What!!? How?" She asks bemused.
"My parents."
"They're loaded." Aomine says as he drops the bags in the corridor. "Is Tetsu here?"
"Out with Taiga." Says a giant of a man with purple hair snacking on a potato chips bag in the kitchen.
"Jesus Atsushi! You scared the hell out of me!" Aomine says holding his hand on his chest. "Satori. Atsushi Murasakibara."
"Hi." She greets as he looks at her suspiciously nodding as a form of greeting.
"Would you like a drink?" Akashi asks her.
"Beer please. We brought some and food too. I'll go..." About to leave to get the bags in the car, Akashi stops her by holding her wrist.
"Aomine can go later." He says intensely, limit intimidating her.
Aomine, seeing her frozen, obviously not wanting to sound rude to the owner of the house, takes Akashi's hand off of her wrist and stares at his friend.
"Okay, Akashi. You like her. We get it. But no need to be so intense. Relax."
"Sorry. You said beer?"
"Check out the view." Aomine bursts guiding her outside, on the terrace.
She crosses the big and bright living room before passing bifold doors and being hit by the sea breeze and the view of the ocean.
Stunning. She closes her eyes and takes in a deep breath. He's right that's all she needed. She should allow herself some rest and fun.
It's a perfect summer day, in perfect company.
