It's been 8 hours since I started working, and finally, my today volunteer nurse job was officially done.

"That was a heck of a day, don't you think so, Amelia?"

My coworker who changed her clothes next to me asked.

"It sure was but if it not for choco-sensei, it sure gonna be more hecker than this"

I answered my coworker's question.

"You are right. Man! I wish I could be her assistant nurse one day."

Coworker-chan started her daydreaming again.

"By the way, today I will hit the club with the ladies from ER. Would you like to join us, Amelia?"

Coworker-chan asked me after snapping out from her daydream.

"Sorry, but I got to pass on this one."

I answered as I put on my shirt.

"Again! Is it because of your cute little girl?" "

Coworker-chan raised her voice, then asked me.

"Yeah! She would probably wait for me with an empty stomach right now."

I answered

"It can't be helped then. Well, good luck back home then, you big sister!"

Coworker-chan shrugged her shoulder as she mocked me.

"Quit it! ..."

I got embarrassed by the words that coworker-chan said. She just laughed it off and headed to the exit.

"Then, see you next week, Amelia"

Coworker-chan waved before she left the changing room.

"See you!"

I replied.

After coworker-chan left. I started to head back home as well.

On my way home, all I was thinking about was the menu for today's dinner.

"I'm too tired to cook, so I will have a take-out. Pizza then. That girl will love it."

I spoke to myself as I had a mental image of one certain girl on my mind.

I took a take-out at my usual pizza place. It smells so nice.

I brought up my pace because of the hunger.

I walked past the usual view which I see a million times. I became familiar with it little by little, even though it's been only a month since I moved here.

I walked faster with every step I landed before I realized that I stepped on something.

I looked down and under my right foot, there was a pocket watch lying on the ground.

"A pocket watch?"

I was puzzled by it, then decided to pick it up.

It is an aesthetic-looking watch, looks kind of old and expensive as well. Maybe some rich guy just dropped it while taking a stroll.

I was planning my next move for this lost watch, but suddenly my stomach started to growl, so I dropped that thought immediately.

"This is no time for a lost watch. Gura will kill me if the pizza is cold."

As soon as I spoke, I started to run back home.
