Wahid Shiriyr was not at all pleased as he sat, crossed-legged hovering above the air. His surroundings were not up to his tastes. Dar black rocks made the structure he was currently residing. Droplets of water circled around the jagged shapes before falling to the ground with a soft tap.
Hardly any light came through, like Wahud Shiriyr needed it. What most bothered him was the loss of living in an extravagant house, being catered to his every need.
The woman he'd possessed was nothing pretty, but a rich lady was much better than sneaking into houses and living there for some time. He had his fun with them, that was true but it'd be nice to be treated like a king here and there.
Which was why it came as a shock for the jinn to find himself retreating back into the shadows after seven years of pleasure.
Now that woman was running around, claiming she'd been "enchanted" and "possessed" for a long period of time. No one around her believed such tales, as magic and wizardy was a very sensitive topic. The grave markers that lined the streets were proof of that. Pale faces, lack of expression, refusal to look at the names in cursive typography.
Nor the significant drop in children population and declining birth rate. Clever, the worst that you can do to a parent----remove a part of their flesh and blood from existence and into a world they have yet to discover.
Lucky, Wahid Shiriyr said, smiling for the first time since his retreat. No one thought twice about that tiny mistake. Only the parasite which was connected to him remained. Of course that meant, the legendary Precure from the prophecy were going to be involved this time.
How crazy that prophecy spread around. Romulus made sure to drill it into people's heads with those large speeches and ceremonies that his host had attended. There was no one who didn't know of Cure Chevalier, Cure Virtue, and Cure Liberté. The girls who saved the Earth and stopped the Deadly Sins. Returned to their ordinary lives and left them all with the aftermath and consequences of their actions.
Oh how funny that was. Proof that those people are omnipotent fools although the last part was a bit promising Wahid Shiriyr declared, hiding a smile.
"Sire, we have returned..." A second voice was present among the darkness and pitter-patter of liquid. "And with good news..."
Concrete, hard as steel sort of voice, yet was somehow able to roll their r's. No human could mimic it, a shadowy beast that could speak human tongue.
"Speak or forever hold your peace." Wahid Shiriyr spoke back, he'd gotten that line as he witnessed the marriage ceremony of his host's cousin. Something about the sentenced intrigued the jinn enough for him to use it.
"You were right..." a third voice, same as the other, this one was of a slightly higher pitch came from the left, "They are here...our s-s-sire is always correct..."
"Tis' true." A fourth voice, wasn't as deep or high pitch as the others, sounding much more neutral than it's fellow cohorts.
"We've seen the pink, red, and blue in action as they were going up to the tribe. Formidable to normal humans."
"But not for mas-s-ster..."
They did this to please him. Jinn who had been on the brink of extermination, the prey had suddenly becoming the hunters. With their book of prayer and divine representation of God's word from those of the middle east. To this day, the practices of their ancestors have not faded in the least when it came to eliminating the supernatural spirits. Such scum and vile creatures they were all back then.
On the run from the alchemists, who assisted in removing the jinn alongside middle easterners, Wahid Shiriyr was traveling across the globe. Seeking refuge somewhere in the dark continent, he came across three vagrant jinn who were hiding in a cave, trying to stay alive.
