You turned over, your mouth opening wide as you yawn, your eyes darting around under your eyelids as you felt light beaming on them. You let out a soft groan, slowly opening your eyes, immediately squinting as your eyes adjusted to the white landscape outside the large window panes a few feet from the bed.
Oh, he must have brought me here, you mused, a corner of your lips lifting as you slowly turned back, your eyes traveling up the large hand resting on your hip to its owner. You were met with a pile of tousled white hair, the strands completely covering Satoru's face. You nearly laughed aloud but managed to hold in the sound as you didn't want to disturb him, watching his bare chest gently undulate as he breathed.
Your eyebrows rose as you noticed the loose white shirt that covered you, your cheeks tingling as your mind wandered. You thought about Satoru's thoughtfulness, his perceptiveness that you didn't fully understand until last night. You pondered on the pieces of him that took you so long to notice, the pieces you grew to love most about him, that were right there from the very beginning, even when all he was to you was a moment of passing in the hallways.
You took a deep inhale, a twinge of warmth combined with hunger settling in your stomach. I should surprise him with breakfast. That sounds like a good plan. You gave yourself a slight nod, slowly shifting towards the edge of the bed in an attempt to keep your favorite moron asleep.
"Don't even think about it," Satoru grumbled, the deep sound with a hint of a rasp causing a tingling sensation to travel down your spine.
"Mm? What are you talking about?" You asked, stopping your movements, anticipating what his next move would be. That was when you felt his arm slip around you, forming a hook around your waist that pulled you back deep in the bed.
"Where do you think you're going?"
You rolled your eyes, your lips unknowingly curving into a grin, the smirk you knew that was on his face sending sparks of warmth over your skin. You opted to remain quiet, just a hum escaping you as you stretched, giving your shoulders a shrug.
"What did we say yesterday, Princess?" Satoru murmured, your thoughts about his smirk confirmed as he pressed his lips into the soft spot behind your ear. "I need to prepare myself for any shenanigans you do. You are the troublesome one, you know?"
" Me? Troublesome?" You chuckled, your hand finding its way across the warm sheets to Satoru's, quickly starting up your fiddling games. "I think you're self-projecting, Dimples."
"This is slander," Satoru hummed, tucking his head deeper into your neck. "And on my birthday trip? How vicious of you, Stardust."
" You started it, not me, Toru."
"You haven't answered my question, Princess," Satoru exhaled, ghosting his lips over the curve of your ear, his hand slipping away from yours to slide over your hip.
"I wanted to give you a surprise," you hummed, shifting to move out of his embrace and get off the bed.
"Mmmm no. No, no, no, no, no, no," Satoru breathed, hooking his arm around you once again, pulling you backward, this time opting to roll his body over yours, pinning you to the bed. "No surprises. I need you to stay right here."
