Tunis in spring was nice. The winds were strong, but the weather was perfect. The sun never seemed to set. The equinox was less than a month away.

Mayor Klibi stood in front of the pristine government villa, smiling at the vehicles approach. Small Italian flags waved proudly on their hoods.

After 2,131 years since the end of the last Punic War, the treaty would finally be signed here, on Carthage's old land. It still held some significance.

The 80s was halfway through. Everything seemed to stand still at the moment, but the mayor knew, waves of changes were coming.
