Pov - Meerab Aly

Mornings are hectic especially with the family. You reluctantly wake up coz you couldn't bear the disturbance anymore. I hate getting up early, unlike my family.

"Can't you hear me, Meerab?"

Yep! That's my mom yelling downstairs.  My mom, she's the sweetest but no one knows what happens to her in the mornings. I looked at the sky through the window, not a fan of sunrises but it looks beautiful. Today will be an important day, We're going to finally meet Farah, after 2 whole months. She was in a family function out of the station, we would never admit it but honestly Meerab & I missed her the whole time. We would sometimes think about how the things would've been today if we never met Farah, how boring our college life would've been.

I got seated in my car, wore seatbelt, adjusted the rear mirror and looked ahead, I had and still have a long way to go, heading to our's office,Ours; Mine, Meerab's and Farah's, I thought about the wonderful journey we had.

Meerab and I were seated in the new classroom, trying to adjust in the new environment when we saw Farah, She was the only muslim in our group apart from us. She seemed to be introvert at the beginning , but did really cope up very well with us within few days, and since then we three were together as if we knew each other since ages. We were very famous in our class, for different reasons; Meerab for her studies, Me for my lowest attendance and Farah for both studies and Sarcasm. And life moved on and on, until one day when we finally were graduated and were confused about our lives and careers ahead and that day we decided to do something unique. Meerab & I were very fond of cosmetics and Farah was good at Marketing, that's how we began our business, with an idea, dedication, determination but not confidence. We weren't sure about it initially, no one would be actually, but gradually we gained confidence, self-esteem and had undergone a major personality development. Our Business, Cherries' cosmetics is one of the top cosmetic companies in India. Everyone is proud of us and we are too, Alhamdulillah. But I admit it wouldn't have been possible if our families would have objected, cause for us our families were, are and will always be our first priorities.

I finally reached our office, and was welcomed by Meerab at the gate. Damn! She's looking so excited, Nah! Not for me, She's waiting for Farah. Meerab Khan or Khaani, called by Farah is a Genius. You can call her the most energetic girl too, Cause she never gets tired, Honestly. She just works and works and works, all the day, all the evening. The most dedicated Business woman. She never delays or ignores the work, #Workaholic . But the half credit of our success goes to her seriously, Because she never gave up and motivated us too to never give up.

Meerab & I share a beautiful bond. We met in the high school for the first time and realised we've same names, "Meerab". Apart from name, we have many things in common, like having a younger brother, a nuclear cute family, same likes and dislikes and many more, We both call it as the Co- incidence. Intially, after our meeting everyone got confused with our names. Whenever someone called "Meerab", we both turned towards the call. Lol! But some of our stupid friends suggested a solution for this problem that is, Meerab Khan will be called "The tall Meerab", due to her height ofcourse, and I, Meerab Aly would be called as "The short Meerab", due to my height ofcourse. How Stupid! We both hated these names, seriously....Another co-incidence, you see. But we had to get rid of this problem and someone has to give up on their name, and Meerab Khan did that. She suggested everyone to call her by her surname, Khan aka Khaani, Beautiful isn't it?

I walked towards Meerab with a huge cheeky grin on my face and held her hand,

"Assalamualaikum, Khariyath?"

"Walaikum assalam, Alhamdulillah, and you?"

"Alhamdulillah, didn't Farah arrive yet?"

"No", She pouted sadly and looked ahead still waiting for Farah.
