PoV- Meerab Khan
It has been 10 minutes since Meerab & Farah have arrived here after attending a meeting with the investors and they couldn't stop talking about it, about "The Amirah Shah". Amirah Shah is one of the investors of Cherries' and no one could stop admiring her. She is so perfect, Beauty with Brains. But is cunning too. I personally don't hate her but I get bad vibes when I'm with her or around her, and that was the reason I didn't attend today's meeting and had sent Meerab & Farah. Meerab & Farah both seem to be impressed by Amirah, no doubt, Amirah could impress anyone with her skills and these two are so naïve.
"Khaani, Can you just believe she agreed to invest 80 lakhs for 15% equity?" Said Farah being dramatic.
"Yes, Meerab, You know she's just a genius business woman." Meerab Aly added to Farah's support.
"She has a graceful and powerful aura, Uff Meerab you should have been there,"
"She even asked about you Khaani, You should have come"
"Hey, Farah did you look at her company's products?, And how amazing the interior of her office was?"
"Oh Yes, Khaani you know, She is just mind blowing, I just can't wait to collab with her" Farah said dreaming.
"Awww, it's so fun" Meerab got excited along with Farah.
I seriously have no issues with the deal or Amirah Shah, neither she ever told nor did something irrelevant, but still there's something I feel we don't know about her. She has a kind of secretive behaviour, and people take it as her intelligence, Dude! There's a huge difference between smartness and cunningness, and I know i can't prove this now, and these two would never believe something without proofs.
"Khaani, Let's accept the deal na...See the papers are ready!"
"And we both signed it already, Meerab do it."
"No", I said rather calmly to prepare myself for the upcoming interview.
"Whyyyy!" Both spoke at the same time.
"Umm...Just No, Not now." I just hope they get my point, I can expect it from only Farah ofcourse.
"Meerab, i think you didn't had enough sleep, How about sleeping for an hour and then discussing?" Said Meerab Aly, Can't she think something else other than sleeping or resting? Like seriously not everyone has sleep issues like her.
"Khaani? What happened? The deal looks fine and profitable and apart from the profit we'll even gain fame, So where's the problem?"
I knew this question was coming in my way, and yes, had expected only Farah to question something relevant.
"Gut feeling!" I replied honestly, and they looked at me with the most confusing face. I can read people's faces to some extent, but Meerab's I can read perfectly, she is trying to remember all the incidents when my gut feeling was proved wrong, so that she could give me an example. But I fully trust her memory power, it isn't going to respond with equal energy, as she is so forgetful. Just ask her once to remind you something and she'll do it after 2 days of the given time with lots of excuses, leaving you only to regret on your decision forever. On the other hand, Farah is trying to understand me and is revising Amirah's whole behaviour, words and the deal to check the mistake.
"It's just my gut feeling and nothing else." I cleared myself. "And we can get so many offers and deals daily, so why are you guys thinking too much about only this?"
Farah looked quiet, She was still trying to understand me and Meerab looked at me totally unsatisfied, She'll take some time but will understand, I just hope so.
"Yes, We daily get offered with so many deals, but tell me honestly Meerab, Can we ever get a deal as perfect as this?" Meerab spoke, I know she's absolutely right but I trust my gut feeling.
"I know, Meerab but...."
Meerab cut my sentence and replied quickly, "See, I think you should take some time, it will be fine for all of us." And she just walked away to her private cabin. I looked at Farah and she blankly looked at me. Oh God! Why aren't they getting my point?
