17. Boating

When Ayrab were having a great time just staring at each other, Meerab noticed Farheen passing by.

"Farheen" Khaani exclaimed and went ahead and Ayaan got up too, following her.

As per the plan Meerab shared the fake information with Farheen and she took the pen drive, nodding her head.

"Farheen, I hope you will fulfil your responsibilities and keep this pen drive safe with you."

"Ofcourse miss, you just relax!" Farheen gave an assuring smile. And Meerab smiled back, wishing everything to dwell with the plan.

"You are such a timepass, you know. Not of any use" I said looking at Adnan who was trying to understand the magnetic field.

"Hahaha, Still better than you Ms Aly. Atleast I'm trying to get our location."

"Hahaha, trying? Then why aren't you getting any results?"

"Cause of you. You always get lost here and this time as I'm with you, so, I got lost too"

"Me?" I pointed at myself frowning.

"Aur nahi to, You can atleast help me right, so we could together find our way, this time and our whole life, Insha Allah." Adnan said smiling.

"No, I know my way, I don't need you." I replied looking away.

"Our ways aren't different Jaan, We have the same destination, Our Wedding." He said as he winked.

Our trance was broken by a huge sound. We looked behind to find a broken sculpture on the floor.

"H..Ho..How did this fall?" I asked gulping.

"I...I don't know." Adnan replied looking at the sculpture.

"Let's go from here." I said quickly and Adnan nodded. We were about run when an another sound disturbed us. The sound of a fallen vase.

"H..Haha...Looks like the winds are very strong here." Adnan said with a humorless laugh.

"I...too...think so.... Runnnnnnn."

And the marathon began. We ran until we found the store room where we had the meeting in the morning, and hid in it, quickly closing the door behind us.

"Hey, If we have to escape from the demons, we should fight together." Adnan said huffing. "And so, we've to be friends."

Though his words weren't making any sense. I still nodded out of fright and shook my hand with his.

"Friends!"

And thus, we escaped together fighting with our imaginary ghosts, who played a major role in our love story.

"Huh! We're finally saved." I said as we reached the hall and found everyone there.

"Hey, Where were you Meerab." Khaani took me away with her.

"Hi, Meerab get ready. We're going for boating." Farah said and her whole family yelled, "Yayyyyy."

The bride and groom had their own boat where Farhan jiju helped Farah jump into the boat and they started their photography. Whereas Farah's paltan had a huge boat including their parents in it too. And the rest were we four.

"I.. I'm not in a mood of boating." Ayaan said shrugging. We three looked at him as if he had grown a second head.

"Really? I thought you'll be so excited for it." Said Meerab confused.
