The day was total chaos.

Breakfasts were hurriedly done and lunch was skipped. The Bride's whole family was busy with the guests and the groom's family the whole day and the office staff were invited to attend the function in the evening.

Farah and Farhan kept chatting the whole day about their last day as bachelors and about how they were excited to start their new life tomorrow. Meerab Khan on the other hand was busy in dreamland, she was seen smiling to herself, singing, blushing a bit, talking to herself and to the mirror and also slightly swaying her body whenever the music played, the whole day. And me? I was with the psychopath. We were given the responsibility of decorating the banquet hall along with Ayaan.
Psychopath Mr Mirza is my official and a bit personal problem but Ayaan? He began being a problem himself. He didn't help us today, he actually wasn't himself today. He kept roaming around the corridors secretly glancing at Meerab, and whenever their eyes used to meet by accident both stared for a few seconds and turned away smiling, and ofcourse ran away. They kept continuing this glance cycle the whole day, leaving me and Adnan behind in the ruckus of flowers and lights.

"Meer? Look at these lilies, where do you think they should be kept?" Adnan asked with a basket of white lilies in his hands

"Meer? Look at these lilies, where do you think they should be kept?" Adnan asked with a basket of white lilies in his hands.

I turned to give him a sarcastic reply to place it on my hand and instantly regretted it when he actually placed it there.

"You look so cute, Meer" Adnan commented chuckling.

"Shut up!" I replied taking off the basket but seems like the basket had different plans, it's strands messed up with my hijab pins, I tried shaking the basket and taking it off but it would only give me pain everytime I did, Alas! it stuck on my head.

"You look more cute" Adnan again commented chuckling, he finished his making fun session and decided to help me with a smirk.

"No thanks! I am going to ask Meerab for the help." I turned around.

"Like this?" He again chuckled. "I mean are you going inside, infront of your friend's family, in-laws and guests with a basket on your head? Cool!" He suppressed his laugh.
