It was a big day today, for all of us. Farah is going to get married today. #Marriedforever. As much as everyone's excited, so are they sad about her departure.
After everything happened last night, one thing was clear! Amirah Shah was behind the whole game. She had used Farheen against us to trap Cherries'. Farheen was guilty about everything that happened, even she didn't had an idea of Amirah's conspiracy. Farheen was ordered to spy on us for her, she was asked to keep an eye on everything going on in the company, every single detail, and now suddenly Amirah Shah had dumped Farheen, The reason still unknown.
Farheen also confirmed about the presence of another Amirah's puppet among us. An another traitor! An another spy among us.
As much as we know Farheen, she can't be trusted but we've no other way now and also she promised to stay with us. Meerab was right! Right from the start, only if we had listened to her, today would've been different. But still, I can see the good in all this, 'Meerab and Ayaan.' If all this wouldn't have happened, they would've have never met. And also Adnan and Farheen would never develop a soft corner for each other. As soon as we came to know about this, Farhan bro was the one who was flaming, he suggested to call the board of directors and inform them about it immediately. Farah was the next, she supported Farhan and added about how Amirah will have a downfall now. But it was Meerab Khan, the sensible of all, who had asked us to just forget whatever had happened until the Nikah.
I looked at the mirror, at the reflection of messed Meerab who was hurriedly wearing her make-up. I caught the ring from the dresser. My special ring! Not only because it was gifted by Meerab on my birthday but also because it was proposal ring. I smiled slightly reminiscing the conversation I had with Adnan last night,
I walked towards the guy, who was sitting alone in the backyard to cheer him up.
"Hey, I thought we were friends, Adi?""Adi?" He turned back looking surprised.
"What? If you can call me Meer, Can't I call you Adi.?" I asked taking a seat besides.
"You can, we're friends after all." He gave a chuckling smile and sat still.
"You know, why do I like moon?" I said after a long pause staring at the night sky.
"Why?" He turned to look at me intently.
"Cause, the moon is the brightness in the dark. Though it's alone sometimes in the whole night sky, it still lightens every corner. Though it, itself is dark always, it obtains light from the sun and tries it's best to share it's light. It's like a ray of hope in the lost world. Beauty of the night sky lies only in the moon, though it has nothing so special about it except love." Adnan listened to me carefully, nodded his head and stared at the full moon.
"And just like the night sky has moon to lighten him, everyone has someone or the other one to lighten their lives in this world. Everyone has their own moon, it's just that we don't recognise them, and once we do, the night sky isn't a problem anymore." I paused looking at his expression changing into a genuine smile.
"I know what you are probably trying to say." He shook his head and kept quiet.
"Farheen is your sister afterall." I replied waiting for him to react.
"I was 6 when I saw a four-year old Farheen for the first time in my house. Although there were quarrels between the elders in my house, I felt peace with her. Her smile would make my day and relieve me from the trauma the atmosphere in the house was causing to me. She was so innocent, genuine but still I always found it difficult to trust her. I remember, she always had a pink doll, very dear to her. And one day when we were in our primary school, a guy had snatched it from her and she came to me crying. That day I fought for her, I fought for my little sister." Adnan looked at me now taking a halt, "Just as you said, She was the moon in the darkness of my life. But I was afraid, afraid that her mom would take her away, afraid to adress her as my sister and this fear never let us stay together. And the story came to end when we grew up, a new hatred had taken us within it. After so many long years Meer, it was today, it was today that I felt it again, I felt it when I saw her trembling, when I saw her afraid." He looked down and we stayed still.
