The dark sky gradually filled up with hues of blue, and the horizon of the sky welcomed the giant orange ball, as it hovered upon the sky turning it into warm orange as Meerabs' watched the sunrise from the topmost floor of the palace.

"You know, I can currently relate the song, 'How fast the night changes!'" I said with a sigh.

"So true! Like just yesterday, if you have asked me if I would marry Amirah's brother, I would've called you crazy." Meerab replied smiling.

"Yes, it feels like yesterday when Ayaan entered in our lives and had made his place."
I said chuckling.

"The same goes for Adnan too, right?" Meerab asked out of nowhere, though I knew the point of her line.

"How far has your challenge reached?" She popped a question again.

"It's the last day of the challenge today." I replied rather calmly and she immediately looked at me."Did you lose or win?" I knew this was coming in my way.

"Both lost and won, Meerab." I replied giving her a hint before taking an exit.

________

It was the day today. Our last day at this palace. The day of #Fahan's reception in the form of a lunch party and we all would leave in the evening itself. This palace gave us so many memories, some happy, some sad. It was the foundation of so many new relations, those which will last forever now. A sudden nostalgia took over me, as I walked in the empty corridors, these corridors once had heard laughs, so many talks. The small cozy, dark storeroom in the corner had witnessed most beautiful moments of six souls. The hall where we organised Sangeet, was still playing our melody. The backyard where the functions took place, still had its aura.

"Looking for whom?"

I turned around quickly to spot shrugging Adnan with his hands in pockets.

"No one."

He walked past me towards the tables, "Remember this place?"

I hummed in response and he asked in return, " So ?" In a tone of slight fear and sadness.

"I think we both won and lost too! " I smiled and he turned confused.

"Yes." I said as I roamed around the table, standing infront of him. " I think we both won..... You won the challenge and I won you, so it's a win-win for us." And he was shocked at my sudden confession.

Adnan didn't get it initially, it took a few seconds to process for him and he then chuckled.

"And how do you think we both lost too? I don't think I lost anything. Infact I feel like I just conquered the world right now."
He asked smiling, raising his brows.

"Hmm, I lost the challenge and my heart to you and you lost the chance of getting a proper mature girl, as your partner."

"You own a weirdo, who could never have her things sorted, who could probably never learn to be presentable all the time." I paused as I watched Adnan's expression changing from a smile to slight laugh. He took a step further and began with a huge grin,

"I'm honestly very happy to have this messed up wierdo for the rest of my life." And he retreated his steps, raised his hands sidewards, " I'm on the ninth cloud, and I'm always there to sort you out Meer! Your Adi is always with you." He yelled happily and I asked again smiling,
