As the sun started to rise over Gotham, its citizens were busy with their morning routines, some would be getting out of bed to get ready while others might already be catching the train or bus. Every now and then a citizen would look up and see a black bat-shaped object darting through the air.

Jake was on the verge of passing out inside the cockpit, but looking out the canopy window sparked his interest enough to keep his droopy eyelids up. Seeing that they were leaving the tall city buildings behind them, Jake looked past Bruce's seat to see a huge mansion approaching the jet. It was a two-story complex with parts jutting out to make a partial third-story. The sandstone bricks reflected the rising sun, making half the manor appear to be made from gold. Windows reached from floor to ceiling, giving a sparkling effect to the residence.

"This will be your new home Jake, anything and everything you might need to become a hero is right here for you to use," Bruce said, noticing Jake looking at the mansion that was sprawling in front of them. "You might want to brace yourself for the landing, it can be quite rough for the first few times you do it."

Banking hard left, Batman put the jet into a nosedive, making Jake almost levitate above his seat as the zero G's kicked in. Pulling up at the last instance, the jet broke through a torrent of water, and everything when black. Turning on the lights, Batman flew the jet through a dark tunnel, passing various red dots on the wall and the occasional steel reinforcement. Reaching an opening, Bruce switched the jet to VTOL mode as the craft hovered over the Batmobile and moved towards a landing platform.

Opening the large glass canopy, both vigilantes got out of the jet. Looking around, Jake saw various steel and concrete platforms holding up everything that you could need. From what he could see, there were three major platforms connected by bridges built into the walls.

The first platform was the one they were currently standing on, it had a black tarmac surface with yellow markings to indicate where the jet should land and there were bright lights facing inwards that came up from the sides of the platforms. The second platform held what looked like an assortment of motorcycles, quad-bikes, jet skis, and snowmobiles. There was also a lift connecting it to two bridges. One leading to the third platform and the other to a flowing body of water in the distance.

The third platform was the largest one, it was at the center of the cave and connected the Batcave to the main road that led to the waterfall from where they entered. Where all the previous platforms were rectangular, this one was a large circle. It also held the Batmobile in all of its glory. Lights coming up from the sides similar to the first platform, illuminating the multi-million dollar car.

Just past the last platform was a large computer system containing multiple large monitors, two large keyboards were present on a large black table that extended to either end of the setup. On the left side, there was a small grouping of lab equipment, most likely used for forensics. On the right, there were various folders and files scattered across the table.

Just as Jake was finishing his observations, a teenager landed in front of him wearing a bright red suit with dark green leggings and a cape with black on the outside and yellow on the inside.

"Hi, my name is Robin. So you must be the new guy that Batman went to go and find." Robin proclaimed, getting strange yet interesting looks from Jake.

"Yeah, that would be me. I'm Jake or my hero name would be Overwatch if you wanted to call me that."

"DUDE!! That's a sick name, between me and you, I reckon we are probably the only two young heroes with original names."

"What really? I thought everyone gets cool codenames? I mean like Robin might sound kinda lame seeing as it is a midget bird but from what I have heard on the news, you rock man."
