Just like Slade said, when Jake woke up there was no sign of the mercenary and the money was on the table. After booking a flight to America, Jake landed at the Happy Harbour airstrip almost 48hrs after departing from Singapore. Walking to Mount Justice, Jake entered his security clearance at the hidden driveway before entering the underground HQ. Walking into the common room, Jake found that it was currently empty, his best guess was that the team was either training or with their separate mentors.

Sneaking into his room, Jake took a quick shower to wash of the plane scent that had been surrounding him for the whole trip. When he exited the shower, he tied a towel along his waist before entering his room. As he slid the bathroom door open, he almost walked straight into Conner who was in a fighting stance.

As the two looked in each other's eyes, Conner was the one to break the stare. Locking him in a breathtaking hug, Jake sighed in relief. The clone was taking his return rather well all things considered. "Where have you been? What happened to you? Why didn't you call for help?"

Conner bombarded Jake with questions, to which Jake simply replied by saying that he will explain it all to the team and the League in one big briefing but first he wanted to put on some clothes. Excusing himself, Conner left him alone to get ready.

Word soon got out that Overwatch had returned to Mount Justice and everyone wanted to find out what happened. Batman and Robin were the first to arrive, just before Superman and Wonder Woman also turned up. Little more than an hour after Jake had arrived at the mountain, everyone was there to hear what had happened. Overwatch had told Conner to relay a message to the rest of the Team/League; go to the briefing room.

The heroes were anxious for the arrival of the lost hero, he had been gone for almost two months, who knows what could have happened to him. When Overwatch finally came into the room, silence ensued. As if a mystic force had taken the words away from everyone inside, all eyes were on him. Reaching the front of the room, Overwatch stood behind a glass lectern taking a deep breath.

"I'm sure you all have many questions for me like where have I been and what happened to me. I assure you that I will try to answer as many as I can before this meeting is over. Essentially after the hospital came down on me in Miami, I was abducated by members of the League of Assasins. They took me to one of their bases in Eastern Asia where they tried to train me to be a killer. About a week ago, I escaped their custody and fled to Japan where I managed to sneak onboard an aircraft and come back to the States. From there I came back here to Mount Justice where Superboy found me in my room after taking a shower. Any questions?" Immediatly Kid Flash's hand rocketed into the sky. "How did they train you?"

"WALLY! You're being insensitive!" Artemis responded voilently, giving him a punch to the arm while Flash and Green Arrow just facepalmed. This was going to be a long meeting for everyone.

After everyone asked their various questions, the League and the Team all left with the exception of Batman, Green Arrow,  and Superman. They had some more personal questions to ask Overwatch, without any masks. Hitting a button on his hologlove, Batman was the first to remove his mask. The cameras and recorders had been turned off and the room had been completely isolated. The rest of them soon followed suit, each taking their masks off, well except Superman but oh well.

"Jake, is there anything else we should know?" Bruce asked the blunt question emotionlessly, but his eyes were filled with worry. Bruce and Oliver had been looking at every previous League base that they could think of to find Jake, leaving their cities for days on end. Dick and Roy really stepped up during this time, somewhat taking over from their adult counterparts. "Well there are three main things you should probably know. I'll start with the least alarming one and work my way up."
