NARRATOR POV

➳♡゛

By the time Poppy had gotten home she was beyond wiped out, "Hey dad." She greeted walking into the bookstore.

Poppy's father own a book store, the pair lived in the apartment above the store. Her father was currently walking around the empty store with his trolley, placing new books around the store. Poppy could barely see his ginger mop of hair above the shelves.

"Hi, sweetheart!" He called back as he carried on stocking shelves.

Usually Poppy would help out but she was on the brink of passing out, which is what she was going to do but in her bed. Clumsily she walked to the back room and up the stairs to her home. She unlocked the door and threw her backpack to the ground of her living room.

Closing the door with her foot she mopes through the living room, manoeuvering around the stacks of stored books in the way she lazily walks into her bedroom. Her room was small but managed to fit her bed, a smaller set of draws that were at the side of her desk beside the small clothes closet and her large bookshelf.

She has a small fake fur rug in the centre of her room and a little basket for her dirty laundry. Slipping out of her denim jeans she throws them into her partially full wash basket before she sticks her hands in her top, unclipping her bra she throws it onto the floor before pushing her arms back through the sleeves in her top. Falling face-first into her nest of blankets and pillows Poppy quickly finds herself in a hazy dreaming state.

After a couple of hours of a well deserved and needed nap Poppy stirs. Waking up barley she moves and props herself up against her left arm while she frantically searches her mound of blankets for her discarded phone.

Giving up temporarily she sits on the edge of her bed, flicking on her desk lamp her room lights up, everything the light hits has an orange-yellow tint. Standing she closes her blinds and then her curtains.

Glancing over her bedding Poppy plucks her phone out from all the blankets, Poppy has an exasperated look on her face as she opens Instagram. Typing on her screen she opens Jasper's Instagram page.

Taking a deep breath she sighs before she types away her message. Responding creepily fast she begins her conversation with Jasper.
