~𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚌𝚊𝚗𝚘𝚗𝚜~ 𝚜𝚊𝚠𝚢𝚎𝚛𝚜 𝚊𝚜 𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚜

Tinker sawyer-

● Being the oldest, tinker has had his fair share of helping out with children so he's definitely the most parent-y parent out of the other two

● He's able to be strict without feeling bad, though he may seem harsh sometimes it's what he says as fair

● Like junior let someone get away (which not only lost a part of dinner, it put the whole family at risk since they could've gotten the police) so he ruined his walkman.

● Now I feel like he'd be more forgiving towards an actual child(especially his child) and be more like 'accidents happen' if it was something they didn't do on purpose. The only reason he wasn't more forgiving towards junior, is because junior is well- his brother and siblings tend to be harsh like that sometimes

● I don't think tinker would have a preference toward what he "wants", he'd be fine with a boy or girl.

● Teaches his kid all the stuff he knows about machines, cars, and whatnot

● The kind of dad to explain in detail why PPE is so important, why you need to let cars cool before checking most of the fluids, and how dangerous batteries are just to turn around and do the opposite of what he just said.

● 'Do as i say, not as i do'

Alfredo sawyer-

● I love alfredo but he'd be a mess of a parent like he's barely keeping himself alive but he'll still try his best! (mostly because mama, tinker, and tex are breathing down his neck like 'alfredo, they need to bath nightly, they can't be crusty like you')

● Alfredo would probably want a boy since he'd view it as 'easier' which he'd learn isn't the case since raising a child isn't easy no matter what

● Probably gets confused on what to do when they start crying and hands them over to mama in defeat

● But his lowkey neglective-ness aside, he probably deep downs want to be a good parent, which adds in him trying to distance himself from his kid and putting it off onto mama, tinker, and tex at first

● He's secretly so scared of messing up it seemed easier to just not have anything to do with it

● Like I've said before alfredo is the middle child and didn't get a whole lot of attention growing up which plays a huge role in his fear of messing up. He loves mama but there's also a bitter part of him that will never forgive her for paying more attention to junior, tex, and tinker and he's terrified his kid will hold the same bitterness if he messes up

● (I'm getting a bit carried away with him but I love this so here's a little scenario of how it'd click that he needed to be more of a parent to his kid)

Alfredo laid on his bed staring up at the ceiling, the Texan night air flowing into his window making the old curtains dance around in the dark. No matter what he did he could get to sleep, something in his gut felt off making it hard to even close his eyes for more than a few minutes. Sitting up with an annoyed huff he picked up the clock off his nightstand

Maybe he should start his day now? What'd be the point of sleeping if he'd have to get back up in less than 2 hours? Setting the clock back down, he flopped back into his mattress and shut his eyes, tiredness finally hitting him once he thought towards the day of work ahead of him. He was right on the edge of sleep when the sound of the hinges on his door rang out into the quiet room. Sitting up he squinted into the darkness, a sigh leaving him at the sight of the 3-year-old awkwardly standing in the dark doorway "what is it (name)?"

"I had a scary dream!" the toddler let out in a distressed shout as their little feet puttered across the wooden floor "okay, Go see if mamas up" they excitedly climbed onto his bed, jumping onto him making him grunt out in pain "I wanna sleep with you dada!" "i don't-" seeing the sad look they gave made him pause, gently lifting them up and setting them on the bed next to him "alright, but I can't sleep with you on top of me"

It didn't take long for the pair to get sleepy again, alfredo beginning to doze again when the feeling of (name)'s hand tapping his chest made him reopen his eyes "I love you dada" that made him stop as he watched their eyelids shut fully and their hand to stop moving, showing they had finally fallen asleep. moving his hand he rested it on top of their tiny one "I love you to sweetie"

● And while that may not have made him the best parent ever, it made it click that ignoring his kid wasn't the best parenting tactic.

Tex sawyer-

● Tex definitely wants the 'white picket fence' life -well the sawyer version of it anyways- so becoming a parent would over-joy him

● I feel like tex wouldn't care too much when it comes to the whole "are you hoping for a boy or girl?" thing, though if he had to choose..he'd say girl

● But he'd be happy with whatever he gets

● His child is his entire world and he spoils the mess outta them, they're basically attached at his hip

● Tex has tea parties with babi and his kid will definitely be involved with them once they're big enough

● Plays dress up with babi and his kid, usually, it's a part of the tea parties

● Tries to be strict with stuff like bedtime and sweets but always gives in because he feels bad
