hi, my name's abbie williams. the normal way to start a story is by stating a few things about me. which is what i'm going to do. i have long brown hair, a pair of big blue eyes, and freckles spread over my rosy cheeks. i measure exactly five feet and two inches, which means that i'm considered short among other sixteen year olds. my birthday is december 6, 1999.
acting has been a big part of me since i was a child. my mom signed me up for an audition for a small movie, and i got the part. i've loved acting ever since.
there's recently been an opening for a spot in amc's, the walking dead. i've been in love with that show for the longest time, and my amazing manager landed me an audition for it.
so this whole day i've been packing for my flight to atlanta. i live all the way in texas, and for the audition i have to be at atlanta. so me, my mother, and my manager will fly over to atlanta for a few days then come back after the audition.
if i do get the part then i'd have to move to atlanta during filming. but hey, it's all worth it. "come on abbie, our plane leaves in an hour." sally, the amazing manager i talked about, yells.
i zip my large suitcase, then sling my small carry on backpack over my shoulder. i make my way downstairs, struggling with all of my bags by myself. "yea guys, it's fine. i totally don't need any help." i say sarcastically, but everyone still ignores me.
i drop my bags to the floor, which grabs everyone's attention. "put my bags in the car." i tell my brother, jackson. he sticks his tongue out at me, then grabs my bags and walks outside.
the rest of us follow jackson outside. "i love you honey, knock em dead on your audition." my dad says, placing a kiss on my forehead.
"i will, love you dad." i reply, then hug him one last time. "you too booger, wish me good luck." i say, pulling jackson in for a hug. he hugs me back, then pups back and wishes be good luck.
"come on sweetheart, we should get going." my mom says, opening the car door for me. i step inside, blowing a kiss to my family on the way.
sally starts the car engine, then drives off. we arrive at the airport in a matter of minutes. after going through the whole process that's mandatory at airports, we're finally inside our plane.
as soon as i'm seated, i get my phone out and play the song hunger-by ross copperman. i plug the headphones in and place them on top of my head.
i lay back into the seat, trying my very best to get comfortable. auditions take a lot of energy, so i need to make sure that i'm well rested for my audition. i close my eyes, and let sleep take over.
