"I'm Jessica, Chandler's girlfriend."

The second those words come out of the girl's mouth, I freeze. "Girlfriend?" I question, through gritted teeth. Chandler stares at me with a sympathetic look.

"Yes!" she replies enthusiastically. "Nice to meet you." Jessica outstretches her arm, and we shake hands.

"Well, I feel like I came in a bad time. I should get going." I say, then begin to walk out. But of course the stupid side of me decided to bump into the wall. I nervously laugh it off.

"Wait-" Chandler says. "What were you gonna tell me?"

"It's not important." I say, then leave his house. Great job Abbie, he liked you and you never realized it. You could've been the one sitting on that bed instead of Jessica.

A small tear rolls down my cheek as I begin making my way towards my house.

I thought Chandler liked me. Not even a week ago, he admitted it. That jerk! You can't tell someone you like them, and then date another girl a few days later. Unless, he was dating her this whole time.

Oh my god, I'm not gonna deal with this right now. Chandler can go f*ck himself for all I care.

I arrive home to an empty house. My brother and father left a few days ago, due to school starting back up. And my mom and Sally are at the grocery store.

I walk up to my room, then do the little amount of homework that was assigned. Afterwards, I went straight to bed. I just wanted today to be over as quickly as possible. My prayers were answered when I fell into a dreamless sleep.

I do my regular morning routine, then change into my clothes. ( a/n: up there ^_^ )

Mingus and I walked to school together again, but this time I didn't talk. Mingus chose to respect that, and just kept rambling on and on about this girl he met yesterday.

I'm happy for him, at least he can be happy with someone he likes. Because that's obviously not meant for me.

We arrive at school, and go to our first period class. For today I have Math, gross. The bell had already rang, which made me late to class. Stupid jammed locker.

I enter the classroom as quiet as possible, but it wasn't quiet enough. "Miss Williams, care to explain why you're late?" the teacher asks, looking up from her attendance.

"Well, um, my locker- got jammed." I awkwardly answer, causing the whole class to laugh. The teacher giggles lightly, and rolls her eyes.

"Just don't be late again, go ahead and take a seat next to Chandler." she say-wait. Chandler? Oh no, please tell me there's another guy named Chandler in this school.

I look over to where she pointed, and fine myself staring at those deep blue eyes. Just my luck.

I walk over to Chandler, and take a seat. As the class begins, I can basically feel Chandler staring at me. I try not to let it bother me, and pay attention to class.

During the middle of the lesson, a small piece of paper hits my face. I take my eyes away from the teacher, and put them on the person that threw me the paper, Chandler.

"open it." he mouthes. I grab the note and read it.

are you mad at me?

I roll my eyes, then crumble up the note and throw it at the floor. Chandler sighs, then turns his attention back to the teacher.
